Take any group of hunters sitting around a campfire and ask them what their all time favourite caliber may be? And we bet the majority would agree it's their 30-06.
To many their 30-06 is a family treasure, handed down from one generation to the next, with all the characteristics of a rifle worth a thousand stories. Memories of Deer camp with your Dad, Grandpa or your very own children come flooding back to life with a sentimental flavour like few other favourites in your safe.
Steve Molter is one such man who embarked on his first hunt to South Africa with his trusty 30-06. Joining PH Ed Wilson, tracker Ropsie and hunting dog Django, they embarked on a hunt of getting in close for old school tricks with the 30-06.
