The Puk word still gives me chills. My father lost the entire saved contacts due this puk lock. I was randomly trying the new settings and turned that option accidentally then one day the phone was asking for code before switching it on. That's how i messed up everything that day. Today's kids get offended easily. They lose their temper easily without thinking about the consequences. This is the worst generation in human history!

When we grew, these ads would always be there while watching TV. One could guess the network operator just by the ringtone in those days, like today Brands have their own ringtone. Also the Nostalgia of seeing Pug in Ads so much, that we as kids literally used to address Pug as Vodafone Doggy.

These ads are from 2000 Decade. The first one is for Hutch, which came in India in 2004, not in 90s decade. In 90 we don't have even have cellular coverage across India, so forget about SIM cards ads in 90's Cell phones and service were very costly at that time. with outgoing call around 48 rs per 30 seconds and incoming rates were 57 rs per 30 seconds. Only two telecom players Max Telecom and World Tel. In 90s pagers were affordable but that too were very expensive. A normal pager cost around 5000 which was a big amount. Actually, in India, during 90 decade, a landline was a luxury so forget SIM cards be common.
