Saw you & Danzig at the Underground in Seattle in the late 80's. One of the best shows that I had seen by far. Also, before the show you guys were at the Mcdonalds across the street, you probably don't remember, but I do like it was like yesterday! You also, handed me your gig pick, after the set. Man, what a show, hope Danzig will consider having you back. This would be great; I would definitely go and see that. Thanks for the inspiration.

Energie, Kraft, purer Rocknroll.... Danke für die tolle Zeit und die Tonnen von Inspiration. Was lucky enough to see John with Danzig back in Glasgow in the early 90s. The show was moved from the Mayfair to the Glasgow Barrowlands and the show was all the better for it as it allowed for a far bigger crowd and Chuck's drum riser. I was bang in the front row and as much as I appreciated the whole band-John was on a different level, not just on a playing level but with regards to his tone too. Pain in the World was astounding and John's sound would cut you in half during it. Still one of the greatest shows I've ever been too......And I've been to a lot.

John, when I was 14, I saw Danzig at Pulsations in Glen Mills Pennsylvania - it was my 1st concert. Me and my friends won tickets from a local college radio station. I was blown away and became a life long fan of the band and started playing guitar. At one point during "Am I Demon" you looked at me and my buddies like "will this riff ever give me a break?" and I thought that was cool as hell. To this day I still love playing along with your songs. Was playing Twist of Cain wrong for 30 years, but finally figured out that sneaky D# in the main riff. Appreciate your simple, tasty, yet nuanced style man!

John, I met you as a kid outside The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY nearly 30 years ago and I asked you about jazz influences on and you talked to me into checking out Charlie Christian. Hi John, Steven! This brought back the same memory I told you about way back 2000 or so. My mate Charles and I were walking up the sidewalk to an indie record store in Richmond Virginia, (before we even knew Glenn had done anything after Samhain,) and from a half block away, we could hear Twist of Cain just pegged in the store and blaring into the street. We looked at eack other like "who's that!?" We walked in and found out and both got copies of the record. I hope you're still doing well and happy Old Bean! Like all these commentors have already said, that first era Danzig is untouchable and is every bit as fresh, vital and visceral today as then. 🤘
