Beautiful restoration job you did restoring that wastewater pump. I bet that it was a very dirty job cleaning the submersible parts, particularly when you don't know what wastewater was pumped out with it. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work. By the way, I don't think that the rotation was wrong. The water flowed out of in the right direction.

One day a few years ago while out in the wilderness picking wild greens for a salad I came across a vine covered old water well. Dangling over the top edge of that well was a rope. I began pulling the rope upward. It was attached to something very heavy. To my pleasant surprise the rope raised a treasure chest. The chest had a large padlock securing the lid. To my surprise I spotted a loose brick in well. I removed the brick and discovered a key to the padlock. Inside the treasure box was

Threads shoud be covered before painting. Soldering is not your profession, cleaning the copper may help. The cable entrance is never water protected. Be careful
