I love how Gelt could be all corrupt and dont give a damn about the laws and customs, but he still remains a law abiding citizen. And they say absolute power corrupts! Hah! (The economic growth is a little sus though, other Electors agreed.)

It's truly an incredible demonstration of generosity that the elector count of Solland has the right to vote for absolutely every inhabitant of Solland. Something that isn't the case for the rest of the provinces of the empire.

Wissenland Elector Count: Boi that Solland over there is too devastrated to even thinking of rebuild let alone repopulate it, we don't have any gold or investor willing enough to rebuild the land. Amazingly the elector count has managed to restart the wine industry and increased the population count by 300 percent with a local witch hunter and warrior priest.

Solland is basically Nevada for Balthasar, he can conduct whatever dangerous and wacky experiments he can in what is basically a wasteland with little oversight and being an Elector Count, he will basically run it with a lot of Sell Swords too as likely the population is too small to be recrutible even with Imperial support for resettlement, likely making up of mostly farmers, Miners and the Military presence in the area. (I imagine the population is around the same as Nye County, Nevada in real life around 50,000 people in total covering a huge Geographic area making it essentially abandoned)

Despite what people think Solland's main export isn't gold, it's gunpowder. Gelt invented a more efficient gunpowder and shared that knowledge with the people of Solland. Now everyone in Solland gains wealth from the patient and employment is 100% with well paying jobs.

As someone not from Solland, but rather living next to it, at first I wasn't sure about that new Elector Count, but I was very impressed when 100% of Solland people showed up to greet the neighbouring state, although it was a little weird that the entire population was asking for a cup of lead

You forgot to mention how Balthasar transported half of the Empires military to the newly established Solland Air Brigade. I know this is easily overlooked however as each soldier transfered are not actual citizens of Solland thus the 100% charts are still quite relevent. Thought I'd mention it for any tourist to Solland.

Balthazar Felt was ecstatic and immediately formed a new poll to make this citizen a formal citizen of Solland. By some magical trick the poll was divided 50/50 but Balthazar was not phased. Soon after this poll, the new citizen of Solland was conscripted and joined the army, and left to Wissenland where he would serve as foreign labor according to the 22nd law pass by the People of Solland that morning."
