haven't even started levelling king krush yet. i didn't know it was so good. made the mistake of levelling up my fire build then hit the blackrock boss who was immune to fire damage lol.

Thanks for the guide. I have the same budget comp except Cornelius instead of Anacondra and it is able to beat Heroic Emperor Thaurissan, though probably not quite that reliably as I've failed many times too. I kept trying with the same party to get consistent victories even though it would have been more productive to change to another mercenary, so I could make a guide too. As Heroic Thaurissan can drop more Diablo coins (50 if you are lucky), but 35 is very good for a normal.

I'm not sure where the line goes between farming heroic/normal, but I think in Blackrock Mountain normal is faster. Some of the earlier Legendary Mercs may be farmable in Heroic, definitely something like Anduin in Felwood.

I have every other merc over 600+ coins and only 150 diablo coins. He's avoided me so much It's annoying as hell.

I finished it 4 times yesterday and none of them gave me diablo coins. Is it just bad luck? If it is on normal mode change the coins that i will get?

The coins are the same types on normal and heroic, heroic gives a bit more coins per run but can take longer. It was just bad luck.

Did they nerf tasks? i was using the tips here to farm diablo and my mysterious coin always pops bombs / other stuff instead of mysterious stranger -_- and damn thaurissan is lvl 30 too

I was watching this hoping to get an answer on how to complete Diablo task 12. It is currently uncompletable. Seems to have been for a while. Blizzard doesn't seem to care.

Some multi-kill tasks are bugged and there is currently no workaround.

@@OldGuardian First uncompleable task I've encountered. If I google it, not much comes up. But apparently it's been bugged for weeks/months. Guess people just grinded for coins insted of doing tasks. Maybe it is somehow coded so you have to complete it in PVP. And PVP is just no for me.

For not budget version better bring pve holy comp - cariel(better then xyrella for pve), velen, anduin. This comp safely aoe almost all packs in game on turn 2.

I was watching the video thinking it looked quite slow going and the fire trio would 2 turn these for the most part, albeit riskily, but the holy trio has great heals on top so seems a good bet.

@@davidrichards613 Yeah, fire good till blackrock. when you you can safely one turn aoe. Holy seems best comp for trash packs while progressing. Btw budget version aka cariel, xyrella, samuro still strong while progressing. We can bitch about blizzard for been greedy, but they give as pretty good starting heroes.

@@pavlosegeda8294 they also made sure coins for those early heroes are easy to get. If you have BCX and they aren't fully equipped it's on you!

@@davidrichards613 Yeah, i admit i was mad farming this weeks, but now i missing only garrosh and i will get him till new patch. So i have almost full collection as f2p and stockpile bunch of packs for mini set. That's just impossible with standard where you straggle for your first year before you got decent collection.

@@pavlosegeda8294 I was a week or so late to mercs so I'm like 7 mercs away from the full unlock, but of those most are at least half way done, only Diablo, Jaina and Jaraxxus are low on coins. I paid 4 GBP first day and nothing since so its plenty doable

Your budget deck does not work. You are either getting crazy lucky or editing your videos. If we’re supposed to be using mixed comps throughout the climb, it’s not obvious in your message. Cariel, Samuro and Xyrella take huge losses early

I can see how the grind can be a major factor. The mode itself is far cheaper than standard though. Battlegrounds remains the only non-grind f2p mode in Hearthstone.

@@OldGuardian I can't compare normal hearthstone and mercenaries. I feel it's a cash grab for this mode.
