No one mentions that the KIA's being stolen are the older cars. 2023 and later KIA's have immobilizers built in and are no more easier to steal than Toyotas or Hondas. If you have a late model KIA you won't have this problem. Just labeling all KIAs as easy to steal may cause a thief to think he can steal your KIA and do damage to it before he finds out he can't steal it. News reporters should clarify this and not just broadcast misinformation.
