When I watch old movies like this, I love to look at everthing except the actors: I like the bedsteads, and my guess is those are silk, goose-down comforters on them...(my grandmother had a light pearl gray comforter with matching goose-down pillows. Talk about sleeping "under" a cloud!!) The sets/rooms (and actual homes) always had such h-i-g-h ceilings - at least 15', and higher - in the 20's and 30's; and all the little details, bric=a-brac, and archetectural details (like niches, moulding, doors, windows etc) are so cool to me! Like going back in time. I like to also try to imagine the true color(s) of things like clothing, upholstery, wallpaper, whatever...it's funny the little things you can spot - and the dialect/vocabulary/expressions you can pick up (folks liked to use, "say" alot: "Say...I saw you walking down the street last week...." "Say! What do you mean?") Cracks me up,
