Entertaining as it was, it's kind of dumb. It's not as though guests were being frisked on their way in. Why was Sansa's unwitting complicity even necessary? You have one shot to pull off a regicide, but you entrust the murder weapon to a flighty girl's capricious choice of necklace? With nothing to gain from the risk? It's not as if Sansa later felt even remotely compromised, or that her involvement could be used against her. Goofy.

Probably a lot. We've just been rewatching season 1. In the first episode, future Bran is the reason Jon Snow stops and turns around for ghost. The parent wolf and stag are dead with lion claws all over them. The baby wolves are left over. By the end of season Ned and Rob are the dead wolf and stagg ans the baby wolves are obviously the stark children left over. Everytime you hear a raven go "caw" it's because it's Bran watching events from the future and trying to warn characters.

Yeah, I think people were looking for a vial when the poison is the actual "gems" in the necklace (hairnet in the books). Much easier since you don't have to empty anything, you just drop the crystal into the goblet and let the alcohol dissolve it.

There's dozens, if not hundreds, of Tyrells. It's not as if the family is just going to be Mace Tyrell and his two kids after 300 years of Tyrell rule. The show is just dumb at portraying these things properly.

There are some handmaidens or junior members of the branch still alive so the Tyrell name may have survived in the female line…just like the Blackfyres.

I have mixed feelings about GoT really. I hated the entire Faith Militant arc. I really despised it and I nearly quit watching several times. Seeing Cersei suffer at the hands of the fanatical monster she empowered was the only bright spot in the whole arc. Blowing up the Sept and wiping out the Tyrell heirs is pretty much the time I stopped caring for most of show. After that the only interesting storylines were Dany and Brienne. I don’t know how much I believe about the revelation of Jon’s true heritage as a Targaryen. Something about it seemed like it had been shoved into the show at the last minute. I dunno, this scene felt like the height of the show at this point. At least for the Kings Landing segment. Tyrion, Sansa, Tywin, Margery, Loriss and Cersei all competing for the best position. Well, everyone except Sansa who I genuinely despise. Her combination of weak will, stupidity, and yet somehow being obnoxiously spoilt really got on my nerves. I never really understood why anyone thought the Starks were so great. Arya had such potential. If only she’d gone with Brienne and learned how to fight and develop a sense of honour from her.

I have to agree with you there. Some of my favourite characters were in that season. Oberyn, Margery, Tyrion Brienne, Oleanna, Daveth (Stannis’ advisor that the little girl Shereen taught to read) and Arya although I found her lengthy captivity with the Brotherhood and the Hound boring and her time in Braavos a waste of potential. I’m probably forgetting someone. I know I liked that red haired wildling that eventually befriended Jon. Oh and Varys. Anyway, characters that I found interesting but didn’t necessarily like included Tywin, Melisandre, Dany, Jaimie (though I did grow to like them-at least before the last season), Bron and that wildling girl that accompanied Bran for awhile. Might be forgetting someone. Finally, the characters I didn’t like. I found Jon Snow absolutely boring for most of the series. I was astonished at how much screen time was wasted on him. Probably he was a pretty boy for the majority of the female viewers to ogle. I despised Sansa. A remarkable mix of weak willed, stupid, yet insufferably spoilt brat. Obviously I hated Ramsay, Cersei, the Waif, and ugh… what was his name… the old man Cersei installed… ah the High Sparrow. Wasn’t fond of Oberyn’s wife and her bitchy daughters either. Though I note they didn’t deserve their fates. I didn’t like Tywin but I respected his strength. Obviously was no fan of Joffrey either. Didn’t like Shay. Always wondered if she truly loved Tyrion before he sent her away by hurting her feelings or whether the whole thing was a charade for a better life. But then she should have taken Varys’ offer and bugged out at the first chance. Oh well.
