I shoot roos professionally in WA ..near 40 years ..and I bought one of these a month ago ..never thought I’d jump into the future..but I have to say it is just incredible to use ..bloody beautiful beam ..I’m in the process of showing sone footage on my channel ..very impressed.👍

I have one of these and also the older model javelot pro kit. The best lights money can buy. We don't use spot lights anymore just these 👍

I also have an Olight S2R Baton torch which I use almost daily in my work, and I have found it to be absolutely 100%, I have had this now for 4 years, charges perfectly every time.

That was my very first torch I bought from them and used it every day. I have since given it to my boss and now carry the warrior 3 but I do want to get the warrior mini 3 as it’s a bit smaller and would the the ideal EDC torch I recon.

i got given a 250 watt ships search light ...had it 35 years ...clip on the car battery job ...What a cracker for the elusive pussy cat , who hides in birds nest or up in tree,s ...Like a box of tissues get thrown up in the air when the mighty 59 BSA 243 wakes them up from there slumber 😃✌

Most of those ads I’d disregard like Facebook ads. Mostly scams I recon. But unless someone actually does an honest review of one that I know was not full of BS then I might consider it.

@@intothenight1993 yep true but reviews that are out there no complaints yet that I could see so I would say it has a bit of merit to it a mate got a bow 150.00 bucks thing lived up to what they said it would do on other bloke dry fired his broke a cam string came off cost to get cam and new string and to fit postage ect over 500.00 cheaper just to get another bow. Crazy hey.

Can these be configured to memorise the setting, e.g. be turned on at med or high setting without the turbo mode first? What would your your preferred selections of 5 or so different torches for your night shooting be?

Yes. It will remember your last mode if you use the side button. The rear button at a half press only goes to low but a full press always goes to turbo. I do prefer the javelot turbo over this one just because it has the bit tighter spot and punches out a bit further. But the torches I recommend would be the Javelot turbo Warrior X 3 Warrior 3S Warrior Mini 3 Array 2 pro head torch I wouldn’t take all of them but probably just the javelot turbo, Array 2 Pro and one of the other ones. Probably the warrior mini 3 as it is the ideal everyday carry torch.

I brought one a few months ago, good but not as good as i thought they would be, like most modern light's there so bright white you just can not see through the tree-bush as it shines right back at you, the good old yellow spotties work best in the tree's and bush area's for me, but these Olight Javelot Pro 2 work great in the open country..

Yea they are designed to shine a distance. I do think their javelot turbo is a better spot light as it has a more focused beam. But this one is better if you don’t need the extra distance but still a good even spot out to 300m or so.

Good vid Mate. To be fair, Olight stuff is fairly easy to like. It’s always practical and extremely well constructed. How did you find the coloured filters? I’ve never been happy with RED I either a coloured torch of an attachable filter. GREEN seems to work better, and the animals don’t really seem to be bothered by it; that’s what I’ve found anyway.

Thanks mate. No I don’t really like any filters. You are far better off with a coloured led. But yes the green is useable but not the red for hunting I don’t recon. I’d rather just flood the area with the white light😂

They are very tough. Put it this way. I didn’t throw this one around but my other ones I have had for a few years certainly cop a lot of drops and hidings and never skip a beat. 💪

@@DawsonShaw-ws3kd the best thrower that they make for hunting in my opinion is the Javelot Turbo but it is the predecessor of the one in this review and is exactly the same size and dimensions but has a 1300m throw. I use it all the time instead or a hard wired spotlight. But if you want a smaller one more pocket friendly the Warrior X Turbo is half the length and still has a 1000m throw. Also check out the Warrior X 3 as it is even smaller again but has a 560m throw. Or yet another one I like is the javelot mini or the Javelot tac. They are both the same torch but one has a mount for either pic rail or M-Lock rail. They are impressive little throwers too. So have a look around and see what suits your needs best.
