Hiya, Happy Mothers Day! Nice meals! My sister loves the Gnocchi soup at OG. I like the Olive Garden, but it isn't authentic Italian. I still enjoy the food. However, I am not sure if this is regional, but the last two times I went here in South Central Texas, the breadsticks tasted different and had a little different consistency. I am hoping it was just a fluke. My favorite thing to get is the endless salad with a side of one piece of chicken parm, and the fried mozzarella - which I eat with fresh lemon juice I squeeze on it, not marinara. As far as the value goes, I always look at a meal, especially one I've had before, and decide whether it will equal 1 meal, 2 meals (leftovers), or even 3 meals (as with the OG lasagna) for me. That gives me the true value for my money. FYI, I think the chicken on Cindy's Alfredo looked delicious. Cooked to perfection!

I thought that the breadsticks this trip were extra good. They were soft and had just the right amount of butter and garlic. I try not to eat too many of them because I am there for the main course. lol You are exactly right about the value. Carly and I both make 2 meals out of dishes. Carly always gets a lunch portion or kids portion and still has two meals out of it. She loves the soup and breadsticks so she is usually full from them. The fried mozzarella with the lemon juice sounds delicious! I will have to remember that when I go. Thanks for watching and commenting!

What a wonderful video!! I love the unlimited salad and breadsticks at Olive Garden. I especially love the freshly grated Parmesan cheese they put on top of the dishes at the table

It was nice to see you took Carly to one of her favorite places to eat, it warms my heart to see her school work and church activities are doing well. I've only been to Olive Garden once and don't remember much thoroughly enjoyed the video I' sure liked the tour of Italy plate David ordered. And your dinner Cindy looked fantastic too. I'm with Carly , her plate looked good but I think I would order a different kind of pasta too, I'm not much of a shell man. You guys have a great week and God bless 🙏t

Mark, We are so proud of Carly. We have always put a priority on church and school for Carly. She does well in school and loves going to church. ❤ The tour of Italy in my opinion is one of the best ways to try different dishes at the Olive Garden. David always gets it, as he mentioned in the video. Carly definitely will get fettuccini on her next visit. Of course she fills up on the soup and breadsticks so usually most of her meal comes home. The chicken parmesan is David's favorite out of his tour of Italy plate. Carly loves the chicken parm that I fix at home better. Carly and David both love the Gnocchi. I like it but I like to save room for the main dish. The breadsticks that day were outstanding. I can't wait for you to see next Sundays video. Thanks for coming along with us.

Well Done to Carly! Success is its own reward. And, even better when it's a team effort. Olive Gardens here are usually full at supper. But, can often snag a table at lunchtime, Especially if a party of two or more. I always went with the soup and chicken parmesan, But, except for one occasion with the guys from work, I always had a "diet monitor" with me reminding when to get a people box! I always got soup because few good stories start with a salad. Have you ever thought about trying a French or German restaurant? Another great video! Keep 'em coming!

Hello family and dear friends, Good to see the three of you dining at The Olive Garden. This may be the only restaurant that I have tried since watching your videos. This Olive Garden is different in size and decor that the one I go to. Cindy, I thought you had quite a lot of chicken in your Alfredo. I know quite a few people who eat their salad without dressing however I spill the bottle ( almost) over mine! 😝 lol. My go to is The Eggplant Parm or The Tour of Italy. I like the ice tea as well. I hope you know how much I enjoy your comments. The Olive Garden is a good place to eat. I was noticing the decor when I was in Olive Garden and thinking that they haven't updated it. It's how I always remember it being. Your Olive Garden may be more updated than our local one. It was definitely a lot of chicken in my alfredo. It was cooked perfectly and so good! Lots of comments on people getting the Eggplant Parm. Carly has less than 2 weeks and school is out for summer! So looking forward to our adventures this summer. I have never heard Cindy oh Cindy. So you know I had to look it up and I found a KZfaq video of the song. I can't believe I've never heard it before. Have you ever heard Cindy, In the Summertime? That is a song I can remember my dad singing. It takes so much time to put together a video. Between research, actual filming, editing, making thumbnails, title and description, and of course comments- it keeps us busy. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. God Bless!

i love their angel hair pasta the best and anyone can sub any noodles for any other type of noodles, keep that in mind. also, their Alfredo sauce is the best of any place i have ever been. omg, this video is making me hungry. 😊

Olive Garden has always been tasty. I usually get either their salmon dish or shrimp fettuccine and never have any complaints. Jack enjoys the breadsticks more than anything else. Thanks for taking us back to Olive Garden!

If you decide to go the tour of Italy would definitely be a great way to try different entrees. Just know that you will probably be taking some home. David always finishes his but he is the exception. lol It's a lot of food and I feel probably the best value for your money. Once you start with either soup or salad and the breadsticks, you really get full.

Love going to Olive Garden. The only drawback is after I eat the soup or salad and those delicious bread sticks, just don’t have room for anything else. For that reason sometimes I only order that. But they have many other dishes that I enjoy. Think my all time favorite dish is Eggplant Parmesan. The food y’all ordered really looked good. Another good food review.

We love Olive Garden . Was actually thinking about going there before yalls video posted. Ginger likes the lasagna. I have gotten the Tour Of Italy on some occasions but my fave is anything alfredo! I have a copycat Olive Garden Chicken Alfredo and the Zuppa Toscana soup recipe. That soup is my go to when we go. Ginger is all salad. By the way, why does David not to salad dressing if I may ask? Glad Carly got her Olive Garden night!

It's funny how things happen like that. That happens with us with KZfaq and commercials. We will be thinking about a place and then you see it. I've seen different copycat recipes for dishes at Olive Garden. David just doesn't like salad dressing. He likes the taste of the vegetables with just a little salt and pepper. Always ask for extra sauce for your pasta when you take leftovers. I like the Gnocchi soup to and also the Pasta Fagiole.

The tour of Italy dish that David ordered reminded me of a similar sampler dish I had from Fazoli's. Have you ever been to Fazoli's? I didn't see a video from one on your channel yet. I have gone to one in Chesapeake about maybe 4 times. Their bread sticks also remind me of olive garden also (they are endless as well). I love the chicken carbonara at Fazoli's, just wouldn't recommend their pizza. For me, it's much more affordable than OG with very quick service, and quality is almost as good if not just as good of Italian food.

We used to have a Fazoli's in Lynchburg years ago but it closed up. It has been a long time since we have been to a Fazoli's. It probably would be a great place to go for a review. I do remember it being more affordable than Olive Garden. We saw one when we were in Kentucky but didn't have a chance to go. Thanks for watching!

Great video but curious as to why Carli in the past few videos is still ordering off the kids menus? Didn't she turn 13 a few months back? Just curious as it might appear to some that you are trying to get an extra discount where one isn't warranted.

Carly is 13. She is not a big eater. She eats small meals throughout the day. She is a snacker. When we go to Olive Garden she usually gets a lunch portion or kids menu. We are very honest about her age. I always ask if she is allowed to order off of the menu at 13. The restaurant said yes. Sometimes restaurants allow anyone (even an adult) to order off of the child's menu but will change what is offered with it....like you pay for the drink. On this day she bought most of her food home with her because she ate breadsticks and soup. She knows she can order whatever she likes off the menu. We are always honest about her age when we order. What I see an issue with is someone who lies about their child's age to save money. We don't do that. Thanks for watching.

David says you can't go wrong with the tour of Italy because you get to try three different dishes. I love the chicken alfredo there. It's a favorite of mine. These are our go-to's whenever we go and they never disappoint. Thanks for watching and commenting.
