I'm a 62 year old white man and people should see the system we have wants to divide us - this song speaks from the heart. I truly believe he is blessed by God to send this message (and others) to us all. God uses His people like this. I was just meditating on this psalm a few days ago. God dropped it in my lap after I had been feeling down and hopeless about the way this world is going. Strengthen us, Lord Jesus. Please forgive us and save us. Edit: If any brothers or sisters happen to see this, please pray for me and my family if you could. Dealing with a long term disability/illness and I don't have a lot of fight left in me. Trying to stay in it, but I feel like I'm coming to the end of my faith. Tired.

Have you read the Bible? Slavery wasn’t exactly frowned upon. It was encouraged. Just make it a couple books into the Old Testament and you’ll open your eyes. It’s a horrible book.

I have shared this all over the place and will continue to do so. There are so many ppl all across the world that needs to hear this and know that "All is not lost, that there is hope and that we have the Ultimate Higher power on our team fighting for us. And for those that are mired in corruption, sin, evilness, etc...they need to heed these words, these Words are quite precise & very specific and the enemy needs to hear them as well and start rethinking where they want to spend eternity. Thank you for sharing this with us, I was hoping someone would...and yes i think God uses men and women that you might least expect him to use. Look at Paul in the Bible, the greatest apostle ever but before his meeting with the Lord he was known as Saul, a mean man that persecuted Christians. I'm sure Oliver Anthony wasn't mean like that but he, as many of us do, don't always choose to do what we know is right in the Eyes of the Lord... Sometimes the worst sinner makes the best Christian. A lot of us have to hit Rock bottom before we hit our knees and I'm not just meaning financially, I am meaning spiritually, mentally, emotionally....I am there. I am there right now and have been here for quite awhile and that song, this reading from the Bible by this humble man, is exactly what I needed to give me just enough hope not to take that long walk off a short pier. I thank God for that, for you all....and Thank you again for making the effort and having the knowledge and forethought to know ppl like me and millions more needs this Word from the Lord.
