When I was a young lad back in the early 70's, my dad had a Kverneland 5x18" semi mount plow on his 1755 Oliver.. That would make her bark, especially turning sod over.. Great tractor and plow though.. The good ol' days!!!..

That’s a big plow, we run a 5 bottom white behind our 2-135 and have 2 Oliver 4 bottoms and one 3

2255 front assist drive 1975 3208 Caterpillar V 8 non turbo. Beautiful two tone paint scheme with slightly green white accents. Extra fuel in thick fenders. A brutal look with pleasant ergonomic layout and exhaust note.

Rick Bork should watch... LoL.. But he's plowing sod, without enough horsepower.. lol When we still plowed, we ran fast enough to get it to lay out smooth. Still disced it down, but if we were against the weather, we would follow the plow with the drill and cultipacker. Always came out nice!! Good to see the old ladies out working!! Thank you Dave!!

😂 All Rick has to do is ask, we'll have a plow day up there, turn it in no time. We'd be lapping that pumpkin 😂 Thanks Ed!

I remember my grandfather sayin those Oliver’s pullin Oliver/white plows would outplow any other brand. Plows closer to drawbar or ollies stronger than they want to give credit to 🤷♂️. I like it though. Dad pulled 4-16’s in heavy clay here in CNY with a 1755 no problem for years 👍

I have heard the same thing, believe there is something to the semi mount Oliver plows being closer to tractor that helps. Also the fact that you can still buy shears (today) at places like fleet farm tells you something about the plows.... A lot of others are missing from the shelf.

I’m sure they are. Most of the club guys collect what they grew up on and they seem to be the domestically produced versions. The Oliver’s build in Charles city Iowa. I don’t know anyone who owns a Fiat built one. If you’re around MN bring it out, we would be happy to have you.

Not at all, lumbering along at what seems barely over an idle… He pulls it in the club’s antique tractor pull, fun to watch!
