I'm not convinced that Jonathan Pryce here is the true Fagin and is in no way excellent at all. he's very bland to look at facially and his london/jewish accent is nowhere to be seen. i think to be able to take a part like this you have to know the character inside out. i don't think he does. he doesn't do Fagin the justice he deserves. Although i'm sure there were reasons for casting him.
