As a former radio disc jockey I know voices and Olivia Newton-John has the most natural, (lilting) vibrato of any singer. It's pours out like pure honey.

In her early days I went to one of her concerts. She had the most pure voice and perfect pitch. She sounded just as good live as she did in her recorded songs. As talented as she is beautiful.

The voice of an angel.....sheer perfection!

When I was young boy around 10 years old, this was one of the first 8-track tapes of my dad's he had purchased for our family trailer that I remember falling in love with. Music was so new to me, her voice and the melody deeply permeated my young heart, spirit and soul. I sat on the ground in front of our camper and surrounded by the most amazing trees (we spent many summers camping in beautiful Lake George, New York which was green and lush with endless Adirondack forests) and listening to the tape play and literally feeling the beauty of her innocent voice paint the air with love and kindness. Then of course when she was in the musical film Grease, I was blown away by her incredible talent, and had the biggest and most genuine crush on her even though had no idea I would grow up to be a gay homosexual man! And even though, as a little boy I liked all the songs in the films but preferred the popular and faster songs; but when I got older the one song that makes me cry every time I listen to it is "Look at me I'm Sandra Dee reprised", not only is she breathtakingly beautiful in the scene where she sings it, she looks like an angel with her blond soft hair and 1950's delicate and stunning dress, and there is something so sad, profound and true in the words and how she sings the song in almost a whisper. think that at that very moment her own soul and innocence shine through, I have tears in my eyes remembering. She passed away today after a long battle with cancer, and I hope that she is in a place of love, joy and rest that is a beautiful as she is. Back in the 70's Olivia was my favorite female recording artist. Listening to her music today brings back so many memories when I was just a young teenage kid. I love her voice, and her songs. Thank you for uploading.

Went to one of her early concerts, and was amazed at how beautiful and pure her voice was live. She sounded exactly like she did in her recordings. How many of today's singers can do that? They use a lot of hype and audio gadgetry to sound good.
