It's very good to wash vegetables with salt. But please soak them for about 3-5 mins and then rinse them, that kills any small bugs on them. Especially the leafy greens. Also, put your fresh meat on the lowest shelf in the fridge. The reason for that is if it was to spill water, it would not be contaminating other foods below.👍🙌

In Britain they don’t wash eggs, it’s not required, when they are not washed they don’t need to be refrigerated in the store or at home.
