I loved your intro, made me smile. I am also excited to see the unboxing of this new Partybox speaker! I agree Oluv, I am hearing the difference too. The new speaker seems to have refinement in bass boost, where as the old speaker has less bass production. The thing you have to keep in mind, is these are designed for outdoors use only, for parties. These aren't really designed for in home theater monitoring. Now, perhaps if you EQ'd them, you could tune them for that purpose, but not as they are out of the box. Yes, I think the lighting effects are better on the new model for sure.

Oh I have the partybox 110. I already dropped it off the back of a semi onto the pavement and it survived. Couldn't be happier with it. It does not charge by USB only by 110 volt which was a little bummer but I am used to plugging it in when I get home. I use it for work. Lasts quite awhile on battery outdoors it really throws sound very well. It does play louder when plugged into the wall, maybe 30 to 50 watts more than battery. Plugged into the wall it has 80 watts rms per channel. God bless

Thank you for doing this timely comparison and for your valuable first impressions. Note that the JBL Partybox 100 also has True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing mode, which we use all the time for split stereo playback with two speakers. Does the 110 also have a flange for mounting on speaker stands? Now that the tweeters are in the middle of the housing instead of the top it is even more important to have the speaker elevated for larger parties.

It seems that in the apk there is not an audio equalizer so that music on youtube or on the net can not be heard with more higher frequencies. To check if with 2 x 110 that are connected in stereo via bluetooth, a microphone connected to one speaker can be heard also in the other, which is not possible with 2 x Partybox 100. Otherwise you need a bluetooth mixer with mic input or a laptop with mic and bluetooth connection.

Hi again Oluv :) it's been a little while since I've written a comment on your videos. This was a very nice video, as always. I can agree with what you said about the sound. I was actually listening to this on my Minirig 3 plus the Minirig subwoofer (just for the fun of it, honestly), and even then I could clearly hear the difference in the bass response. It was a bit surprising to me as well. It's rather unfortunate that you've been getting copyright strikes! I think you mentioned in another video (or perhaps multiple videos) that you've had that issue, and I find it strange that's still happening. Hopefully it can somehow get resolved or something; I don't have much knowledge on how KZfaq deals with things like this as I never really upload anything to KZfaq. I only really use my account for writing comments:). Anyways, take care of yourself, and keep doing what you do, weather it be through KZfaq or Patreon or both. Have a nice day! :)

@MrWinkles022 жыл бұрын
@@asunavk69 The mediums are too loose and feels like they are about to fall out, even with wings. at the same time, it doesn't isolate noise quite as much as I would like. Not a huge problem as I have ANC turned on, but wouldn't mind a mix of both as without ANC I can hear everything even with music playing. The large ones fit better and isolate noise better, but messes with the sound. I tried a set of comply's I had lying around from another TWS. The fit is much more comfortable, but like the large silicon tips, it messes with the treble, making them too peaky. I'm hoping Oluv has some recommendations. I cant remember if any of his past videos discussed foam tip replacements specifically for his EarFun Free Pro's. I vaguely recall him talking about foam tips, but not sure if its in relation to. So, I will have to go back through all his recent videos on EarFun Free Pro to see.

Off topic but I need advice if possible: I recently had a Soundboks 2 which I already sent back. Phone was at max volume, battery was charged and the boks was not plugged in, only via battery. When I listened to harder music genres like Frenchcore or Hardtekk the box would turn itself off at box volume over 70% when the "drop" in a song would come in. The battery was only charged once, does the battery need some cycles of charging before it can handle such frequencies? If I sell a product for such a price, me as a customer expect it to be able to blast hard and loud music aswell without the boks shutting down all the time because the drop is too hard. Song examples were Hey Mambo and Trip to Valhalla from Dr. Peacock. Anyone else experienced this? I did not use an Equalizer or bass boost.

One thing I noticed was the 110 now has the slot for your phone/tablet moved to the back of the speaker instead of up front. This was a bad design change for those people use this for Karaoke, as up front makes it easier to see the tablet/phone. It also looks like the slot isn't as long, so you won't be able to sit a popular tablet like the Samsung Galaxy 8" horizontally with the 110, while it fits perfectly on the 100 horizontally.
