As for showing signs of piety I've felt something stronger at Rezazadeh's rituals...They conveyed something more generally theistic than purely muslim. that wouldnt really be a tremendous amount for a deadlift. while certaintly most people, even a lot of people who have been lifting for a while, couldnt do that, i would not be surprised to see someone at a serious gym who could do that.

Their snatch-weight is pretty intermediate deadlift weight but their clean and jerk weights are just something only advanced lifters could think of deadlifting.
