It can be the most important part of the game and you have to be ready. Digging Position: Nice athletic comfortable positioning with your weight on your toes. Digging Angles: The ball will come very fast so it's important that you have your angles correctly because wherever your 'platform' (position of your arms together) is angled, that's where the ball is gonna go. Good Luck!
Remember:
1) Balanced Athletic Stance
2) Hands together with palms up
3) Angle arms up

I’m starting in 2 weeks I’m so exited!!! I’ve always wanted to play volleyball!!! I’ve been practicing at home for around 2 months but ai’ e wanted it play volleyball for 2 years now, but ai’ve always been told I’m to busy to playa mother sport so being able to do it the year is like a dream come true for me 🥹

I dig the same way out I put my left hand over my right not right over left since it feels more comfortable

I have to train and teach my entire team,, my friends find it really funny since I'm the 'ace' (I prefer to call myself a Wingspiker) and captain. But also, I'm the shortest person there *me cri*blocking is so hard being 5'2

If you still need instruction or have questions about this or any defensive skills, just reply. (I have been playing and coaching since 1988. My teachers were Russ Rose, Mark Pavlick, Larry Bock, a few Olympic team coaches and players and many of the best HS/club coaches in Pa. )

Also, any overall tips for receiving better (im having trouble with the ‘absorb’ and aim towards setter portion; my receives tend not to be controlled)? Thanks so much!
