After defeating Serbia 94-91 during the Preliminary Round of the Basketball tournament at the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio, Team USA had to face France in the Carioca Arena. It promised to be a close match between two of the best national teams in the world. Find out how the story went for Team USA who were looking to keep their unbeaten Olympic record going since their loss to Argentina’s Golden Generation at Athens 2004.

Team USA n'a juste pas vraiment eu le besoin d'écraser cette équipe de France, composé de joueurs totalement inconnus et dont tout le monde ignorait l'existence à ce jour. Heurtel, Batum, De Colo, Diaw, Gobert (le seul), Qu'est-ce que tu pensais qu'ils allaient faire contre des Kevin Durant, Buttler, Klay Thompson, Jordan, Green, Carmelo Anthony, DeMarcus, Paul Georges, Cousins... KYRIE IRVING ! La France a certes une très excellente école, de très très bons systèmes, mais face au rouleau compresseur des USA, c'est vraiment très très insuffisant.
