What makes me sad, specially now that she is taking a break from skating and perhaps never coming back again, is that during the time she was skating and winning it all, she was not rightfully celebrated as the wonderful, talented athlete that she is. And she also didn't receive enough recognition for her achievements, compared to the reception that, for example Kostornaja is getting nowadays (what she also definitely deserves!). Instead Alina got a lot of hate, because Medvedeva and all the drama around her. I think it wasn't fair for Alina to receive that treatment. I love her, I think she is something special and I wish her all the best for her future!

There is no reason why Alina shoudn't return to competitive skating. She is still training and she very precisely said she is not considering retirement.

И все таки фигурное катание это Алина Загитова❤ я не фанатка её, я не слежу особо за этим видом спорта, но посмотрела номера всех девочек и скажу одно, у Загитовой и танец, и катание и прыжки отлично сочетается и даже костюм. Как будто все вложили только в неё

@@rubydacherryiscute She's also breaking the line, her leg during the illusion spin was badly bent. She is not holding out her moves but running through them. You clearly find her wonderful and of course her technique is strong. But for me her movement doesn't do anything for me. She has good technique & strong elements which is why she's Olympic champion. But this is not the best version of the Black Swan I've ever watched. This young woman is at the top of her sport and she is a champion. But personally, for me I don't prefer this program. It doesn't connect with me or my heart. It doesn't draw me into the program.

People need to understand that this is actually a fact, the best short program in the modern skate, not only because it holds the record or because the amazing Alina skating abilities but the program it self that reinterpretation of a white becoming the black swan, it had to be precise and magnificent portrayed by a capable skater that captures the young the innocence the intern and self fight and the transformation and of course good musicality without blend it to the dramatic side but the magnificent one, only Alina could give ot justice. So is pretty accurate consider this, one of the best program a short program performance ever

@@tatianelois6450 the short world record is currently held by Valieva. Talking about Alina’s short program, honestly it’s mostly a matter of opinion. As an exemple, Kamila and Anna’s SP are amazing, full of emotions and technique. I prefer them over Alina’s. This may be your favourite SP, but set aside the technical value, artistry’s appreciation is proper to each of us (music, dress, expression etc…) For me I prefer Anna. She skated two perfect programs beautifully, with a lot of highly technical elements.

@@bluedasher74 quads are not allowed for ladies in short programmes, only in free skate. But even still, the answer to your question is NO, many skaters have broken Zagitova's record since then, the current record holder in women's SP is Kamila Valieva's "in Memoriam" with 90.46 points.

Her Me Voy program was a stunner too, more mature and less frantic, it’s a pity that her mental and physical state declined throughout the season. She could have kept going and fought through the rough patch but that is hard to do in her training environment. We will never know what really happened behind the scenes last year

I think im the only Filipino here who Always Watch this Again and Again Alina is Such a Charmer and Fearless. She Skates Clean and Well Deserved the Gold Olympic Medal.😅The younger Skaters now are Focus in thier Quads but they always Fall, Lack of Emotion and Connection to the music. This Alina Zagitova's Black Swan Performance is Something you Look For.

Finally!! This program is a MASTERPIECE! The emotions included in it are complicate but Alina interpreted so well. Just imagine a 15 year old on her first Olympics overcome all the nerves and shines as a black swan.

Алина тот человек, из-за которого, несколько лет назад, я полюбила женское одиночное катание. И хоть сейчас девчонки превосходят Алину в технике, но всё равно, никого я не могу пересматривать много раз. Пару, тройку раз посмотрю выступление, и всё. А выступления Алины, могу пересматривать, и пересматривать.

Если под техникой вы имеете ввиду четвертные прыжки, то да. Но ни одна из фигуристок не может выкатать такие дорожки и нет такого владения коньком как у Загитовой.

@@user-le8hs7bw6v согласна. У нее идет абсолютно цельное движение не видно даже подготовки к этому прыжку все течет, переливается одно движение в другое. Только нечто похожее делает в номере Аве Мария Щербакова, кажется но там конечно все медленно.

В 2018 году на своей Олимпиаде Алина безукоризненно выкатала сложнейшие в мире програмы, превзойдя всех, сделала то, что никто никогда не делал до нее: лутц-риттбергер во второй части програмы, все прыжки и каскады во второй части произвольной, что не удавалось никогда и никому до нее.

У Алины очень сложные и красивые заходы на прыжки, вот где техника. Прыгать четвертной многим легче, чем тройной.аксель. Поэтому КП заваливают, а в ПП выравнивают четвертными.

Да, сейчас откатали короткую девочки олимпиалы 2022... такоеинапряжениеи.. дождались, выдознули. Девченки молодцы.. Все пересмотрела тут же дважды. И немогла не зайти опять сюда.. Как же я люблю эту программу, как всёёё здесь сошлось. И красота, и сложность и музыка... и это забыть невозможно. Это навсегда! Оочень красиво❤❤❤❤
