Join me on a frosty morning walk in the west of Ireland as I take some photos with my Olympus 30mm macro lens, and 45mm F1.8

I just finished watching your video on the 45mm 1.8, checked MPB, they only had one, so I grabbed it! Can’t wait to try it out on my EM-5! I interested in a macro too so I will look into this 30mm or maybe the 60mm. Great videos! Love your shots too!

lol. I was in the first 5 viewers. I have the EM-5 II, both lenses and two 3D printers. So much for your demographic concerns.

Oddly enough I have the same camera, one of the lenses and have also been looking for a macro lens. Also, I have a 3D printer… 😂

I would suggest the Olympus 60 mm over the 30mm if it’s in your budget.

Took my UV filters off years ago and I felt like quality improved. If you're concerned about drops put a lens hood on.

My testing since filming this shoes that they do change the image - need to do more testing in different light before I make a propper conclusion - but yeah I just use a lens hood!

Did the priest bless the bbq too? 45mm is a great lens if you think it looks nice on the EM5 you should see it on a black EPL7 👌

@@Elifarnhill I should probably add, up until this year i’ve alway just shot jpeg. But my new year’s resolution is to shoot in both, man up and learn how to process raw files. Then plan is by next year I’ll be raw only. So anything that’s gonna help, will be of much interest and use.
