The Omagh Enhanced Local Hospital flythrough video provides an architect’s insight to what the Hospital will look like when construction is complete. The flythrough highlights zoned areas including the main entrance foyer and reception area, the GP area, Children’s Department, Outpatients Area, the Urgent Care and Treatment Centre. The short clip also highlights other design features in the hospital including the ward single bed rooms, nurse base stations and the planned landscaped features overlooking the Camowen River.
This hugely significant investment, costing in the region of £105m, will provide modern patient-centred services within the new hospital. This development will also form a key foundation in the Western Trust’s commitment to modernising its healthcare services and will ensure that high quality healthcare provision is delivered within the local community.
The next two years will be an exciting but busy time for both the Western Trust’s project team and the contractor McLaughlin & Harvey. The Trust is confident that the hospital will be successfully delivered in line with the commitments made by the Western Trust.
