I think the raise size of the AK24-ds hand was a mistake... i mean i know the sample size is really small for me to draw that kind of conclusions but in the grand scheme of things you want to be balancing your range as well so unless in that situation he is raising pot on the button with marginal hands in an attempt to steal, it doesnt make sense to be raising the pot there in the 1st place. Should play that hand as if he had a hand he was stealing with and min raise (like he seems to be doing usually) and hope for a light 3-bet from one of the big stacks. Also by playing his hand like that instead, his range is balanced better and if he still gets a fold then thats not even bad because he could show cards and effectively give more fold equity or respect to his future steal attempts from the button. Otherwise it just becomes too predictable and exploitable.

The A3J8ss fold was incorrect. Odds, playablity, and clarity post flop make it an easy call especially since the big stack would be an easy target for an all in check raise since he is aggressive

I play this game regularly on Stars. You give out terrible advice. Folding aa79 20BB deep? What kind of a nit are you?

i completely agree m8, but then he raises from earlier w/AAT5 no suits. AA79 with a suit and short stacks behind i would pot bet pre everytime in that spot.

AA79 oop 3 hearts is such a bad hand it's an absolute instamuck unless you're short stacked. it's as i'm sure you know, pretty much impossible to play post-flop

@@neil2920 Its in the top 3% of all hands. No way its a fold in position of an unopened pot it just wins too much

So the AA79 hand is in the top 3% of all hands and you say its a fold in late position in an unopened pot?

You need to use two cards from your hand, he only has 1 spade and can only use 3 spades from the board.
