This is boxing.I'm an Indian from a different country.What a fool this Indian fellow, talented lost because he was pushing his opponent.Worst still AMATEUR level.Pro boxing by all means do it there's 10 to 12 ROUNDS.Too many Jokers escp the Young Punks.Pushing that's not boxing.Holding maybe but never ever push your opponent.You will be screwed by the judges.

Weird how the Argentinian judge was the only one to not give Dev the second round which was way more clear than the 3rd yet he gave Dev the third... No consistency there from him. Except that the fight wasn't that bad of a robbery. I personally think the Italian judge had it correct with the last two rounds going to Dev. That being said it was very close and the ending of round 3 Jones did some good work! I wouldn't be mad with 2 rounds to 1 either way! One thing i can definitely say for certain though is that Argentinian judge needs the sack.

Now I know why USA has so many olympic medals. Its rigged. Judges know how to balance the score. The last round had Jones looking for cover as he was so passive and didnt land any clever shots either. Nishant was all dominating.

It is not rigged at all, USA boxing took 4 other boxers to the quarter final and all of them lost their qualifications fight.

don’t be so quick to call it rigged when your fighter loses I was rooting for Nishant too but he was sloppy in the 3rd round throwing wild punches that were easily telegraphed. He def won 2nd round though

You need a " 3rd Referee " with these type of close decisions in boxing. 3rd Referee means a computer system replay which will calculate the score based on hits and connections a boxer lands on the opponent.

Very close fight. Down to the last round. The Karate background did give Omari Jones good quick footwork advantage. It could have gone to Nishant has the better one-two which he landed clean several times.

How is this fight controversial? Watching while listening to music I see Jones landing pretty reliably timing Dev’s entires, and also investing to the body. Late round 2 and I see another marginal Jones round, but Dev worked well in the clinch and landed some good body blows

It was a close fight and a lot of back and forth. It could comfortably go to Nishant for showing more urgency and aggression. If he improves his positioning then he can take it away from judges in the future.

Just watched the first two rounds, both are won by the US boxer... not sure what some people are talking about. saying the Indian won rd 2... until it got sloppy and they started hugging, the US boxer had the better and more punches land... and the Indian boxer had some sloppy punches while they were hugging....
