I think it’s a great watch, with such a hotrod caliber it’s superb value for money. You don’t need a 9300. 40mm is perfect. A Rolex Daytona competitor if there ever was one. The aluminium bezel itself will ghost and patina. An handsome watch to age into vintage status.

Just picked up one of these, after buying the reverse panda version a couple days ago. These are an amazing value. I think they will go up in value, as a lot of Omega's, mostly because Omega continues to raise their retail prices sometimes more than once a year.

Love the look of these - I'm considering picking up the reverse panda version on rubber - is the thickness of the watch much of an issue?

i'm looking for this watch and the red with black subdials version ... what do you think ppl... I don't know which one is more pretty... any suggestions ?

I suggest you see and try them in the Flesh as I haven't seen any videos or pictures capturing the fine details of the dials in these models. These beauties look so much better in the flesh. They keep changing color depending on the angle and lighting. The dial designs are what made me love these racing models + the size. Also, you have to look at these in the mirror. Somehow they look really great when seen from 3rd person perspective .. try having someone wear them and you look at them...then decide. You'd be surprised at how many personalities these beauties have! Happy shopping!

white with yellow and black looks more like a racing watch in my opinion. goes well with any outfit, especially on weekends when attending Formula 1 or NASCAR events. both are good and it's personal preference

Very cool review. I'm currently debating between this 40mm Racing and the latest Racing Master Chronometer 44.25mm which costs twice as much (in-house 9900 cal.). I fear the 40mm is too small as that's my main problem with the Daytona.

Doubtful, nothing in this model screams investments, it’s just a good affordable version. The Schumacher the Legend with signature on the dial did gain value amongst racing variants of the Speedy. And of course the Tintin will always remain investment grade.
