Hi there, Can u please share ur thoughts on this watch please 🙏 & help me with this particular model “ Well, I am planning to buy this watch “ particularly black sub dial - 38 mm “ Is it wroth it ? I heard few negative reviews about it & I am not sure how and what to do. This will be my first luxury watch so please let me know about this watch. Fantastic video, Max! I feel like you really upped your game with the cinematography and editing on this one, and the music choices were great as well. Really looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2021! One super nitpicky suggestion I've been thinking about for a while that I think could possibly make your videos feel even more professional-don't be afraid to try letting the music from one section bleed a little more into the next section before fading it out completely. In particular, I think your title intro (at 24 seconds) could benefit from less of an abrupt music transition. Just something to consider; keep up the awesome work!

I must say I was second guessing myself while watching your video - right till the end, when you said "we don't buy watches with our heads, do we?" and that cleared every doubt I had for my recent purchase and adore it even more now. and super clear explanation on the co-axial movement. I really like this, it corrects a lot of issues that I have with the standard moonwatch, it has a glossy dial with metallic hands and indices instead of the matte grey dial and plastic hands of the bigger brother. I just bought a Bulgari Aluminum Chronograph but if I knew this model existed I may have bought it instead.

Outstanding production, great looking watch. I also have slimmer wrists and went with the MK40 (not the Ben Clymer, the classic one) What I miss on this 38mm Co-axial is the classic Speedmaster Pro look with the white markers and hands. Would have been cool if Omega made a version in the classic Speedy look.

Hi Max and Happy New Year, I think this 38mm Co-axial is a nice looking watch but it doesn't really grab me like the reduced Speedy but to be fair I think a lot is down to the almost uniform bezel tachymeter markings, I much prefer the bunched up markings becoming more spaced out on the traditional Speedy bezel. Great movement though and you're description of the Co-axial movement was the best I've seen, I've still no idea how it works but it looked excellent. Oh and I have a 2nd watch, it's a Submariner...a Seiko Submariner, the SKX033. I need a new watch when the Planet Ocean goes to Switzerland on holiday for around 10 weeks so bought this 39mm SKX on a Jubilee bracelet and I really like it. anyway loved the vid mate and here's to a great year ahead for the channel.

Wow Morgan, great observation! I think I've stopped really paying attention to all the numerals on a speedmaster, but you are totally right, the spacing is a big difference in the tach. Also a SEA guy. Unintentionally, my one (nice) watch thing has turned into a small collection, and I noticed last year that somehow I’d ended up with a 42 mm, a 41 mm, a 40 mm, and a 39 mm. So, I started looking around a bit for a 38 mm. Currently: 42mm, Rolex Sky-Dweller 41mm, Tudor BB GMT 40mm, Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 39mm, Grand Seiko SBGA083

What jacket are you wearing at the start of the video??

I got this watch. Its a great watch. I also have a no-date Sub, and I can't tell you how many times i have to dig my phone out to get the date when I have to sign off on forms. (At that point I already see the time on the phone too, so the watch becomes totally ornamental. Not necessarily a bad thing. I also dislike the Rolex Cyclops.). For work, its a better watch. The date function is done so well - so unobtrusive but legible when you need it, unlike other date windows. Small enough to be a dressy watch, along with the shiny applied indices. However enough classic Speedmaster DNA to wear causally with jeans. Water resistant to 100m is another plus. (unlike 50m for even the recently updated Speedmaster professional) The bracelet is like a Presidential style bracelet - all the comfort but without the jangling. It's a true "go anywhere, do anything" watch.

That's a great argument for a 2 watch collection! The sub is your hardcore watch and the speedy 38 is the dressy sports watch. Well done sir 👍

Hi there, I am planning to buy the Omega Speed master Co-Axial chronograph 38mm & all I wanted to know is does the watch needs winding every day ? Even after me wearing it every single day ? Appreciate ur reply please thanks
@procrastinatingman

@@sachinmark2155 the time reserve is about 48 hours so daily winding is not necessary. And it has both automatic and manual wind capabilities. Hope this helps!

Great video - quick question, I understand it’s 100M WR from the website, does it have a screw down crown too? Or is it just the tube that provides the WR?

It doesn't have a screw down crown. This is not a watch I would go swimming with

Good stuff Neil! It's a great smaller speedy. Also check out the new 3861 video. If you got the money, the new professional is legit

@@WatchCrunchOfficial thanks for the reply really appreciate it. I have seen that video it was great and I really want one but it’s a bit out of my price range. Would you say it’s a little pointless going for the old version given the fact the new one is out?

Does the thickness bother you though especially compared to the reduced
@brad7820
@brad7820 3 жыл бұрын
good comparison, but with the new Speedmaster Professional where they brought back the female end links, I think the 42mm size shouldn't be as much of a problem for slim wrists. The most important aspect of a watch for slim wrists is the lug to lug measurement.

Yep, I am really looking forward to checking out the new bracelet on the new speedy, the endlink and the taper should both help with comfort. Omega listened

Didn't even know this model existed. I love the design. I even like the notches in the bezel. Too small for me. I have a speedmaster racing 326.30.40.50.06.001 that has the same movement though and i love it. It's at 40mm. Very nice video!

I have a 7” wrist and I don’t see the big deal regarding a 38mm timepiece however, I don’t own a 38mm either. What’s your wrist size because it looks just fine on your wrist. I personally love the dial, the overall aesthetic of this Speedmaster, the automatic movement, and honestly I like it more than the professional.

I prefer Quartz, but an Automatic over a Manual watch. The Omega Speedy Professional was my grail, but I’d much rather have a Reduced or this 38. It’s between this and a Cartier Santos for me. ✨👌🏼 Ha enjoying a Pagani PD-1701 “Speedy” as a beater watch in the meantime though, far better than a Moonswatch.
