1:36 - those marks on the first link, happens when the bracelet is pulled way up over the watch head, the first links flip over and hit the end links, scuffing them. Its a self-scratching watch and a poor design, my Aquis does that because they didn't think ahead enough to have the clearance for the link to fully articulate in any direction or to put a stopper in so it can't move far enough to scratch itself.

OK, good analysis. I wouldn't obsess about a minor scratch here and there on the bracelet. I'm much more concerned and protective about the watch, itself. But I agree with you: The manufacturer should have allowed for more clearance for the links to move freely. Maybe the scratches could be buffed out.

Balance frequency is used on other groups silicon escapements? Hmm, wasn’t it a feature of co-axial, not silicon? And then, who else uses co-axial except for Omega?
