With Auckland back in lockdown, an earthquake and the risk of a tsunami - no better time felt right to create a fantasy doll inspired by the very end of time energy the world has right now. In this video I make my first ever fantasy fawn - a big undertaking which took me around 3 weeks to complete. I wanted to create a dark and gloomy custom doll that really summed up the apocalyptic energy a lot of us have been feeling since March 2020 as a way to embrace the chaos! Oh shit, you're based in Auckland? I assumed you were a South Islander because of how you roll your r's. I mean, I kind of do it too, but I picked it up from a friend, who picked it up from her dad, who grew up in Christchurch. Also, I'm watching this during Alert Level 4 Lockdown: The Sequel lol. How fitting. I wish I'd discovered your channel sooner - it's so nice to see doll customising content from someone who is not in America and consequently has any and all craft supplies readily available to them. I really appreciate the tips about where you find certain things, as I've been wanting to give doll customising a go myself.
