Steven is indeed still alive and well, and clean for more than a decade now. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him backstage and seeing his band perform two nights in a row in May 2019 (Penn's Peak, PA followed by the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, MD). He was super cool, laid back, and welcomed my friend and me by greeting us both with a big, friendly hug as if he had known us for years and seemed genuinely happy to meet us and spend some time together...a cherished memory I shall never forget!

Sebastian Bach, the best hard rock voice of the era in my opinion. First "heavy metal" band to have their album debut at number 1 on the Billboard. That album was Slave to the Grind and I can still listen to it today, 30 years after it came out, front to back without skipping a song. They took a chance thatvyou didn't see a lot and came out with their sophomore album WAAAAY heavier than their debut album. So far, you really haven't picked a song that ROCKED IT HARD. Try "Youth Gone Wild" their debut single, or "Monkey Business" or "Slave to the Grind" to hear Sebastian nail hard rock vocals.

I understand the frustration of dealing w/ someone who is an addict or recovering addict... it's tough cos they are messed up and u can't be near them cos they are like black holes - they suck u into their chaos of self-destruction. Having shared living spaces w/ alcoholics, every day I came home from work, there's always a problem... when u confront them, they get defensive, agitated and attack you! And you can't convince an addict that they have a problem. I recall Jamey Jasta, lead vocalist of the band Hatebreed, saying he tried helping friends, bandmates, etc. struggling w/ addictions... spent thousands of dollars on rehab services, counseling... and ended up losing their friendships anyway. It was a bitter pill to accept that people are beyond help. Lou 'Boulder' Richards (former Hatebreed guitarist) was a perfect example - he died in 2006 @ age 35 after leaving the band in 2002. Both Paul Gray (bass) and Joey Jordison (drums) from Slipknot lost their lives... it's tragic when poor health & addictions end a talented musician's life 😪

Skid Row has been one of my favorite bands since their debut self-titled album came out in the late '80s. My friends and I had the pleasure of meeting both Sebastian Bach and Rachel Bolan (bass player, primary lyricist) in downtown Augusta, GA after they did a local radio station interview the afternoon before the show. They were super cool and opening for Bon Jovi on their "New Jersey" Tour...fond memories, indeed!!! As for some harder stuff from them, you guys should check out the first two songs on their second album called "Slave to the Grind" - "Monkey Business", the opening track remains my favorite Skid Row song to this day... Peace & Love from Georgia, Y'all :-) P.S. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful young family!

This was a great song to pick of one of my favourite bands can't get enough of his voice. Try these 7 songs.... - * Youth Gone Wild * - piece of me - big guns - ** Monkey Business ** - ** Slave to the Grind ** - quicksand Jesus - * psycho therapy * There are official videos for every one of these songs The singer's name is Sebastian Bach he was born in the Bahamas and raised in Peterborough a municipality of the greater Toronto Ontario Canada area. The band is from New Jersey PS..... Sebastian has solo albums out with videos for them if you look him up by himself.

Fun facts: Bach also spent 10 years on Broadway, and was a regular on Gilmore Girls. Also did a VH1 reality show with Ted Nugent called SuperGroup. And so very beautiful back in the day.

Sebastian Bach, he left the band in the mid 90s, still tours a lot. Very entertaining guy, he’s performed several shows on Broadway, has been on several reality shows, was a recurring cast membe on Gilmore Girls, was in several very funny episodes of Trailer Park Boys, and last year got into a Twitter war with the wrestler Chris Jericho when Jericho claimed he could sing just as good. Really funny stuff with Bach just straight up clowning him and offering to fight him.

They were huge in 89 from a lot of ballads on their 1st album. When I heard their 2nd album was coming out, I was thinking their record company would force them to continue that formula. I was amazed the 2nd album was very different, way more metal, and getting further away from hair metal. It's amazing it did as well as it did, cause the songs were a little too heavy for top 40 radio. I like that 2nd album a LOT more than the first

This album was one of the more underrated albums of its time. It was overshadowed by the rise of grunge and most people had left this kind of metal behind. Glad to see people picking up on it now.

Saw him backstage at a Twisted Sister concert in the early 2000's...he is friends with Dee Snider and the Twisted band. An imposing figure...handsome in person! My ex was a drum technician for Twisted and travelled around the world with them, I think Sebastian opened for them in some venues.
