Drop the front nearly all the way and leave the rear high but soft and it should have enough rake to vacuum itself to the road. It’s working when there’s a road dust rooster tail behind it at high speed It’s what I’ve been doing to get to full throttle on 3S. Air getting under the front is the main cause of big cartwheel wipeouts The steering slop, wheelbase, and power levels require thin front tires, lots of toe-out (on-throttle they slop to toe-in), neg camber, and aforementioned body rake. Need lots of smooth pavement for the front to be so low.

Try taking off the small front bumper. It seems irrelevant considering the drag of the front end but at 80mph that little wedge can create some lift. Also consider a gyro to help keep it straight. I have a WLToys 124019 project that is consistent at 84mph. Its running cheap 6900kv motor on 3s.

Sick man was waiting to see what came up with with this and also good to know that the 1406 castle motor would go on the stock gearing aswell as I wasn't sure as the shaft on castle is 3.2 and stock pinion 3.175😆it threw me off😆😆 look forward to next one mate I'm still waiting for mine then I'm sending away to be built into a gt 😂😂🙏💚👊

I have the new Jetwood version that has metal front bumper part and it is heavy . . May want tonseap that on or find a front wing or splitter . . Only thing I've done to mine is swap on some Duratrax Bandito tires

This thing is a ROCKET! Loving the content. I'm in the middle of building up my 184016 too. I've been using white lithium grease for my diffs on the wl toys cars but always seem to find it seeps out of the diff case slowly. Does the 1 million diff oil seem to help that issue or is it just the fact that these things are moving so fast that a little seepage is normal? lol Biggest issue is fitting everything under the stock body. I was thinking about trying one of the phat bodies that Tomley uses made for the 144001 and trimming it, maybe it would fit better? Thanks and keep the content coming!

1mil doesn't leak out at all, and it also tightens up the diffs, keeping it straighter at speed. And yes those phatbodies give a lot more room underneath. They are super tight to fit any electronics 👍

@@petervenner2450 the are Contact Foams, they are cheap and easy to get off Amazon or Amain. I've had them up to 120+mph, some people past 150 but they hold up pretty good

These are 1/10 Contact Racing Foams. They are pretty cheap and come in a variety of different hardness levels 👍

How do you get it so low? I have a Castle Sidewinder sct system and I would like to fit it in there. The stock mount will work or do I have to get another one? Yours had more holes in it...Also do you have any videos on getting to thedifferent? Mine is brand new and sure it is dry. This is my first WLtoys. Thank you for any advice!

There are holes in A-arms close to the hinge pin. If you add a screw you can give it more droop. The stock mount will work, but the screws are fastened with super glue and will round off really easy. Get alot of heat (I mean like burn yourself kind of hot) on them with a soldering iron and work them slowly.

@@sethw1230 yeah keep turning them in, maybe use longer ones if they max out. If you are going up to a 3650 size can, you will have to drill new holes in that mount sadly
