Before the resin gets to the boiling stage.. If it’s getting too hot too fast, you can put the mold in a larger container and pack ice around it. You may need to use oven mitts or a towel so, you don’t get burned moving it. Also for anyone who is new to resin, be careful to not get any ice or water in your mold. That should cool it off enough to save your project. I would still take it outside to be safe and keep it away from anything flammable. It’s great that you included the piece going exo-thermic in your video. It’s a impactful visual reminder of the dangers when working with resin. Years ago when I first started doing resin, I watched a video where she sprayed her large canvas with alcohol and then a couple of minutes later she torched out of habit. Huge flames erupted! She was prepared and had a fire extinguisher right next to her and quickly put it out. I’ve been grateful to her ever since. That video kept me and everyone who watched it safer, because she was willing to post her mistake.. and so does your video! Thank you!❤

That happened to me the other day.....I'm new to resin crafts....I did a 2nd pour without waiting for the first to cure and it got so hot and bubbled up like that...I won't do that again... I put it outside too, b/c the fumes were so bad....but I think I might be able to save it after cleaning it up a bit...

Girl I was just listening to the tv while crafting and when I heard myself on the tv I looked up and it was you😎 so I had to respond to what you asked “do I talk to my art “ the answer is yes and that’s not cra cra that’s because we are creators. When doing a copy of someone, they don’t talk to the work because there’s a memory already in place. That’s how I can find my people I just listen while I work. Woooow! U stuffed those with everything but the kitchen sink! 😃😃 Please do be careful tho. We have to respect that resin is a chemical reaction. I've had some scary flash cures that melted the plastic mixing cups it was in. Tis scary when it boils, bubbles and smokes...and those fumes u definitely don't want to inhale. And yeah that last mold was yellow so looked old but my guess is that resin got too hot again and since mold was done anyway, it melted to the resin. Like it shouldn't sound like that when u demold stuff! Haha 😃✌👍

I might suggest mold release spray to help with the life of your molds? lol yes, that mold has had it! It was DONE! The flash curing was a bummer but cool that it didn’t turn out too bad. Thanks for sharing! Why do you cover the backs of everything with napkins? Isn’t it more of a hassle to clean them off afterwards? Or do you want the bottoms of them finished off with that pattern?

Suzanna, I had exact the same reaction with same mold… thought it will exploding in the house and I put it outside…

If you have a deeper mold try the fan directly on your pour….. it didn’t mess with the curing…. It was just fine….and mine was a regular resin…it wasn’t a deep pour one….

I’m still here because I am a newbie….. I poured a Christmas tree that held 11 ounces….regular resin…started getting warm….really warm….so I put a fan on it and cooled it down no flash cure and cured just fine..

lol, I have to laugh, sorry Sis….too much stuff in your resin is just like too much pigment or paste. You end up with t h that science project. 🤣🤣🤣 Also once I poured too deep in a mold and put it in a pressure pot and I got those suction type air bubble, was so disappointed but I can repair it, but haven’t found the time 😥😥😥

Would be better without papers cuz it get stuck and easy shirk down or burn it too
