I just bought one yesterday! I ran it into a curb at 40 mph head on 2 times, it flipped 4 times and landed in the street upside down. I thought FOR SURE I at least broke some steering or suspension parts, BUT NOPE, nothing broke. This thing is SUPER, SUPER tough, and that's no joke.

I bought one in the same color and I love it! Although I've never jumped it that high it's still tough.

There is upgrade mate ! In fact you can use a lot of upgrade from the E-revo 1.0 , here for 10 years , there is a lot of nice upgrade like those tie rod and i suggest you to buy a chassis metal part made by traxxas that fit at the rear to help the chassis to be strong :)

I've heard the mx38 tires for proline are great for that truck. I use 40 series trenchers also from proline on my v1 e revo.

Try out some duratrax 6 pack tires. They have got great grip, and nice white lettering, and nice rims. Idk about durability in these circumstances though. I’ve only tested them on my 3s rustler

In my opinion e-revo, maxx and x-maxx is the best rc cars.

What a beast takes a beating love it man, keep up the good vids plan on modding my erevo 1.0 into ones of these with a little Dremeling and modding haven't had any major problems with my 1.0 so far and I'm running a slippery elimator and 6s lol just using trottle control and the right kinda tires . Use the alum tierods for the 1.0 they work on it at least j bird said they would

Just re-watching this for old times sake. I actually bought an E Revo 2.0 after watching it take Kev's bashing in this vid. All I can say he was lucky that day! The E Revo 2.0 was great fun while it worked but just about everything broke on it at some point, and I treated it with far more sympathy than Kev did! Upgraded a fair few things but got so fed up of it breaking on every outing that it had to go.

Finally the epic bash

All it needs is thicker diff fluid in all three diffs, stiffer springs, tad thicker shock oil, thats what i did to mine and i love it. Oh and steering servo upgrade

Those smaller tires are going to really take away from it's big air landings. Larger/wider sidewall tires absorb a lot of that impact. It's why I went from the t-maxx 3.3 tires up to the 3.8" trenchers on my Savage Flux and ERBEv1. Not the trencher-X, the normal trenchers which are a bit taller and not as wide as the X's. The revo suspension just doesn't do well with big air over time. Heavy springs, thick oil, tall tires all help. I have 3 revo's and 2 savage's and no matter what I do, the revo just doesn't handle the air as well as the savage does.

And people bash Traxxas calling them junk. I like Traxxas, and I have a 1/10 slash 4X4 with a lot of goodies, and I have yet to do any major damage to it other than broken A-Arms. And I beat the snot out of mine every week. Thank you for another great video.

I have a Revo3.3 custom converted to brushless. But since I have moved I have no where to take it. Just gathering dust in the kitchen corner. lol. Been about 3 years since I ran it.

When you will buy new tire, buy them unglued so you will be able to tape the inside on the tire. They will stop ballooning so harder to break. I did it to my e maxx tire and I’m so happy, I can do what I want they don’t balloon. Nice video Edit: I wrote that before you change the tire XD.

Them road rage tires r diff killers! Not sure why but in my experience they were.. smoked Kraton rear diff first run and Talion center pretty quick.. they r a bit heavy but on par with most proline MT tires so it had me stumped. The foams shifted too which made them unbalanced

Ok, just thinking about getting into this... your video was awesome! Watched it a few times at work, til my boss was like, SHUT THAT OFF! LOL...so wanted to ask, you seem to somehow straighten the vehicle midair after launching it off the halfpipe...i didn't notice it as much on the quarterpipes, but i saw the vehicle almost stabilize so it lands on all four tires. Is that done with feathering the throttle or sre you hitting breaks? Just wondering... nice driving though. Really impressed!

Ripped my tires as well on my 2.0 max throttle on grass 6s stock gearing. Seems like that's a common thing with these new tires.

I have the Revo 3.3, I shredded the tires within a week. I wasn't hard on it at first till I found a few weak links. I now treat it probably worse than i should. I've barrel rolled it. I've used it for hill climbs I literally can't walk up and have had it tumble all the way down. I don't know how the hell these things can take the bashing they do and still able to drive them home. I also have a few others, like the Summit (which I am far easier on than the Revo) which I know could also take a beating. I bought the Summit as a slow crawler though and that's what my intention was from the get go. I might make it brushless but still not 100% sure if it's worth it for crawling. The ESC that comes stock in my Summit cannot handle Lipo batteries and would have to upgrade, so that's why I'm debating on the brushless conversation. As I'm going to be changing out the ESC anyways, why not just go with a package deal. As for the Revo, I'm leaving it as is but only upgrading parts that break. It is plenty fast for the trails I run, maybe even a bit too fast.

Any problems with rods pulling out of ends? Just got ERevo vxl brushless and the tie rods and push rods keep pulling out of ends with much less bashing than you did. Would upraded aluminum rods help that? Can't seem to find stronger ends. Thanks
