I’m gidle fan for 5 years and went to see their concert twice. their live vocals and their stage presence are insane!!! Gidle songs are all unique and high quality even their bside. You should react to their album “I Burn” and “I Never Die”. Both are personally my favorite! It’s super good and worth it

yes gidle are sooo diverse with their song!! also they used to be 6 members but unfortunately soojin got kicked out for bullying rumours which ended up being false. Soojin disappeared from the internet for years but just a couple months ago debuted as a solo artist with her song "agassy". so all songs from before tomboy, they were still 6!

As a Neverland I'm really happy you like them so much! Their discography is CRAZY and ENTIRELY self-produced, except for the debut EP "I AM"'s B-sides and their full english EP "HEAT" , whichis a collab with US-based 88rising with some well-known artists making songs for them! (G)-Idle was my intro to k-pop because of Pop Stars. You should really watch some behind the scenes stuff, these girls are chaos queens. They are also the most daring k-pop group at the moment, breaking boundaries and stereotypes like no one else (for conservative Korean standards). Helps that they are the only thing their company (Cube) has going for them, so the company has no choice but to let them do whatever they want.

I know you adore Blackpink so the fun connection is Miyeon trained under YG with the Blackpink members, and Minnie is very close with Lisa (they have the Thai idol connection, they have a little Thai idol group with Sorn formerly of CLC, who were Gidle’s sunbaes at Cube 😊). But to focus on the members themselves - their personalities are just awesome. They are so funny and silly and real. I have a lot of respect for them and have they’ve made a lot of their own professional success almost in spite of their label. They are SO talented.

Someone already wrote it, but I'll say it too. There was a sixth contestant, Seo Soojin. There was a big scandal that turned out to be a mistake, and she was eventually kicked out (if you're interested, there's a lot of information about it on the internet). Even though she is no longer a member of the group, many people think that (G)I-DLE often make references to her. She also played a very important role in the band, you'll understand that, she's great. Now she has made her solo debut, but she will be remembered as "that Soojin" by many people. (You should really pay attention to her!!!)

My two favorite songs/MVs of theirs are probably their "Queendom" performance of "Lion", which first made me a fan, and "Hwaa", which is so emotive and beautiful. Most any of the "Un-Helpful" Guides would probably work, but my favorite guide is still "The Rise of (G)-I-DLE", though it's fairly long. BTW, the songs "Hann (Alone)", "Hann (Alone in Winter)" and "Hwaa" were written as a trilogy of songs, which was why they were presented here together, telling the story of a break-up, despair, and eventual recovery of the singer. Gidle went through a difficult period when they lost the most popular member (Soojin) and after that the changed a little bit since they almost disbanded bc of that (she was fausly accused of bullying by some actress that after her departure even said she didn't know her at all) and started producing really bold songs like Tomboy (i trully reccomend the whole album I never die), Nxde, Queencard, I want that and now Super Lady. So u should do some guide bc there is too much to talk about in a comment.

You need to know that they self-compose and write 90% of their discography (80% Soyeon the leader/rapper) and every comeback is decided and conceived by them (again mostly Soyeon) they come up with the theme, music, lyrics, and influence a lot of the visuals choreo etc. They are literal QUEENS you were right about that lol! I would prefer if you went in order of release! Starting with their debut working your way to the newest.. it's worth knowing they had another member who unfortunately had to leave the group. They are all still close with her and she's still a major part of the fandom (we all still love and support her!)

It's widely considered one of their best albums, would love to see you checking it out Also it was so funny seeing you recognise POP STARS! G-IDLE was debuted in 2018 as a 6 Members Group..but unfortunately one of the member was kicked out of the group on 2021 (She is SOOJIN, she was the famous member of the group that time) So there is many MVs are in 6 members.

You should react to Lee Mujin Service.... Its basically a live singing show....they go to that show as solo....So you can see different episodes.... Minnie has been on that show 3 times. Miyeon, Yuqi, and Soyeon each once... They sing their own songs and do wonderful covers which showcase their vocal ability....You should definitely check that out ...

I love your excitement it is so full of energy! I was like this when my daughter introduced me to gidle but I only fell in love with them after Queencard!! Now I listen to them everyday and it was amazing to see them in concert in London last year and meet them after the show. We went there for my 61st birthday. (main rapper, leader, sub vocalist, producer, writer) she is korean and one of the fastest female rappers in the industry. she is a genius when it comes to writing lyrics (she writes most of their songs). she seems scary but she is very sweet and cute, and is known for her hate towards vegetables yuqi is the second youngest, born 1999. (Lead vocalist, sub rapper, main dancer, fotg, producer, writer) she is chinese and has such a unique and deep voice it makes me dreamy everytime i hear it. I think to general non-fans, gidle is popular for the positive messages in their songs. It felt crazy to me how they are not more well-known for their songs repertoire. They have made songs from many different music genres. Edit: the song that you love at ~6minutes mark is called Hann (Alone in Winter). The song before that called Hann (Alone). Both have the same Hangeul (Korean) character but different Hanja character in bracket. Hann was inspired from this poem called ‘Azaleas’ by Kim Sowol, best described as resentment, although it was shown in different flavours by both songs.
