What an articulate way to explain how Dimash makes you feel. I feel the exact same way … and I do understand what you mean about “not being ‘Wowed’ “. I just come to expect the best of the best from Dimash. At this point I am more in “awe” than I am “wow.” I think Dimash is the personification of music itself. Completely agree with you. I don't care what other singer can sing what....they just don't come close to the magical realm of Dimash. One day when humanity awakens to a higher mind....will his profound greatness be fully recognized and appreciated... and his work be listened to for what it is....quality enlightened art. Right now everyone is obsessed with analyzing octaves, and transitions and riffs blah blah. Instead of just appreciating the beautiful and deep experience you can't find anywhere else on the planet. I appreciate you so much as a reactor. There are others who get it as well....and it speaks volumes about who you all are. But too many are clueless. Experts can be the worst. Jealousy and this need to find the tricks behind the curtain so as to make sure he remains walking on the same earth they do. The problem is.....they never can. They give up in exasperation. Lol its funny to see the flustered frustration of the know it alls. Most the reactors are actors and clowns looking for their 15 min of fame and a few bucks. The Dears get it. They come from all over the globe to see him. This God given treasure to the world should be protected and shielded from all the ugly vulgar ego trips we are awash with. He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that. The kobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him.The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. Я могу слушать Димаша весь день и ночь напролет, но в фоновом режиме для меня это не возможно. Особенно работать с таким фоном. Он просто не дает мне работать ))) Он захватывает все мои мысли и эмоции! Мне просто необходимо слышать каждый его звук, а еще лучше при этом и наблюдать за ним. И это единственный минус его музыки - для меня она не может быть фоном в работе! Ну если только какая-то монотонная домашняя работа, для выполнения которой практически не нужен мой мозг и органы чувств. Но даже при этом мои руки часто делают не то, что им поручили... Иногда я включаю Димаша в лесу на прогулке с собакой и тогда бедняжке приходится гонять мышей или еще как-то развлекать себя самостоятельно, т.к. хозяйка в другом измерении ))

This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. I feel like you do about Dimash. I’ve introduced his music to just about everyone I know and there ate some who are not moved by him. I just cannot understand that at all. He is by far the most vocally gifted person ever. I can’t imagine anyone coming close. It’s not just his range, it’s the entire package. He is a stellar human being.

Please do watch The Guide to dimash, done by LiLaSi, there are 12 and are very good. As u see he is a complete performer on stage😊 but if u met him offstage you will find he is much different. He is a humble, very down to earth person, friendly and sometimes funny. He is generous, patriotic, an anti-war pacifist! Also highly intelligent, and a genuinely nice person who loves everyone. I have been a super fan of Dimash years. I have seriously considered, jumping on a plane just to go and see him perform sometime. He is without a doubt the best human voice I have ever heard. As I mentioned before I question whether he is even human because nobody can sing like that. PS. I am South African, but living in Las Vegas. I was born in Cape Town.
