When my wife and I told my parents, we expected a reaction like this, but my parents were so calm and weird about it... like. " oh really uh wow, congratulations.... can you guys afford that" .... was very disappointing.. found out my wife's 8 weeks into another pregnancy now, and I don't think ill even tell them this time... they can just notice when its obvious.. wish they were a little more normal like these folks. This was fun to watch, blessings to all these people, the first time grandma's were my favorite ❤

My heart… oh the joy I feel watching these. Especially when the grandparents are going crazy. I just imagine the couples going through infertility issues and try for so long. To finally be blessed with what they’ve longed and wished for. It’s so beautiful.

I sort of sympathize for the kids who don't want another. It's almost like they're exhausted of having younger siblings in their stuff OR they're not getting enough attention as it is.

@@gabriellagalli8564 If that means they will have to listen to the baby crying all day, look after the baby, share their room with the baby soon, and the money will be shortened, they had the right to slam the door. All the children, who are happy, are who didn't experience those. Even all the adults, who are very happy, are happy because they won't experience those. If their parents are having that baby after they started to live in their own houses, I'm sure they wouldn't react as in those parts.

I know that this comment is older but I agree. There’s a very big difference having multiple kids when they’re younger and closer together in age, and when there’s a 6+ year age gap. I really think it’s important to consider how bringing in another child to the home is gonna affect the children you already have. It is not the eldest sibling’s responsibility to parent their younger siblings, but unfortunately that’s what ends up happening most of the time. It is okay for those children to be upset with such a drastic life change. Slamming the door didn’t hurt anyone in the long run. I don’t pretend to know how those parents treat their children, and they could have a very loving relationship, but I don’t agree with knowing how upset your daughter is with the pregnancy and posting it online anyway. I firmly believe that after a certain age, the siblings should be asked if they’re okay with another child coming into the home. It affects them as much as it does the parent.

I love all of the great, genuinely happy responses from family members. My husband put his parents and siblings in a group chat to tell them we were expecting. Everyone was excited and congratulating, however his mother responded that she was in class. Unfortunately we ended up losing the baby, and 2 years later, she’s in class is still the only conversation they’ve ever had about it.
