Welcome to Saitama! Let’s have a look around Omiya Station before heading back to Tokyo, a 30 min trip on the Takasaki or Keihin Tohoku Line - even faster on the Shinkansen! ★ thank you to Kip for giving us good local info during the tour!

The otaku in me has to say it. One punch man isn't from Saitama. His name is Saitama. He lives in the fictional city Z.😀

I love your videos. Even if I travel frequently to Japan, it is very refreshing how you present Japan every time, appearing as though you are a first time visitor. There's never enough of Japan to see and learn from. いつものようにとても素敵なプレゼンテーションでした。ご苦労様でした。

Love train station videos. It's my hope to visit every station on the Yamanote Line! Thank you for giving clear directions i.e. which exit you are passing through. Knowing which exit to use is helpful in not getting lost.

When I went to Japan two years ago, I accidentally got on the Shinkansen stopping at Sendai rather than the one going through Shin-Aomori where I was transiting. I practically sprinted the length of the train to find the conductor who was very nice and helpful. He told me to get off at Ōmiya station and that the Shinkansen I should have boarded would also stop there (I wasn’t used to the efficiency of two trains being on the same platform just 3 minutes apart!). I am very grateful for Ōmiya station (and the conductor) for saving me from a very disastrous day!!!
