DC's Stargirl, or simply Stargirl, is an American superhero television series created by Geoff Johns that premiered on streaming service DC Universe and now airs on The CW. It is based on the DC Comics superhero Courtney Whitmore created by Johns and Lee Moder. The series follows high school student Courtney Whitmore, portrayed by Brec Bassinger, who discovers the cosmic staff and becomes the inspiration for a new generation of superheroes who become the Justice Society of America. This is what a teen titans show should be, a campy show about a bunch of kids trying to live up to a legendary superhero team, kids dealing with genuine evil and this is done perfectly

In an interview I read the young actor Milo who plays eclipso said he didn’t want to say any of those words even at a young age he knows what racism is and he felt uncomfortable but after it was explained to him that it was all acting he did it and it was a great job.

These past two episodes have boosted these actors. The characters progressed. The actors stepped up. It is going to be so good when Rick and Yolanda step back up and take up the mantles again. We know they are just how they come to the point Beth is at. This is doing a great psychological horror. When I realized the little girl was McNider's daughter from the 1st episode.

To me it's trying to be horror but is failing hard. In the episode when you see Eclipso in true form in Beth's illusion you can see him behind her standing in the dark then when she turns around he stands there for like 5 seconds and jumps out like we couldn't see him standing there.

'weakest' member of the JSA being the only one to be able to resist Eclipso is so pleasing to me, ya love to see it😌

This episode is really good, didn't like seeing his uncle though but I feel really bad for Rick and what he's going through though and I'm loving Eclipso as the villain this season truly terrifying

I loved this episode. As sad and heartbreaking as it was with Rick and Grundy, it was fulfilling storytelling. I loved Beth's arc. She's freaking awesome 👌 I can't wait to see how this unfolds. I'm wondering if Rick's teacher is gonna help with "domestic violence " witnessing and maybe anger management will be his out? Part of me hopes Jade comes back to help save the day!

Beth is the most powerful JSA member and I am here for it! There is a lot of deconstruction going on right now. It's all great character development. But I also recall what Kurt Busiek said about deconstruction: it's fine to take the heroes apart and see what makes them tick, as long as you remember to put them back together. I loved the little "aw!" moment at the end with Mike calling Barb "mom".

I That's his Uncle not his Brother dude. was NOT expecting Eclipso to be evil AND racist but sure why not? And how powerful is he that he can manipulate two at once? Very Scary! And Beth is the MVP here. She chose HERSELF and beat Eclipso's illusion. Plus, I appreciate how they showed Beth's parents actually taking care of her for once.

Another great episode. Quite a dark one. And interesting to see that despite being the 'weakest' fighter, Beth was able to resist Eclipso's where Rick and Yolanda failed. Also that was a lot of Grundy. I hope they didn't use up too much of their CGI budget.

Maybe something with the plot can have grundy be played by a non cgi character, similar when the flash got savitar to be non cgi for some episodes.

Even STRIPE isn't working right now. Everyone is sort of out of commission right now. I feel like they're gonna evolve from here though, hopefully in some interesting ways.

Man that was the best episode for me, each episode shocks me and Eclipso is on his way to like top 3 arrowverse villains, he's really messing them up and impacting their lives

I had been thinking he is saving them for last too, but I almost wonder if he hit them first. Like there is nothing wrong with Cosmo, its just so vital to them both and then when he isolates them, he'll strike because Courtney can defeat him. But not if she has lost all hope. I think he is discounting her relentless though.

How is it that rick's teacher has a redeemable arc compared to rick's uncle and yolanda's parents? Also, should grundy have a non cgi form later on? Heard this dude reincarnates from time to time. COuld save the budget.

Only way I see fixing the Hour Glass and saving Rick from prison is Jakeem Thunder and the Thunderbolt fixing it and wiping the public’s memory. Need Sylvester, Jennie, and Jakeem ASAP. Last season was so much fun. This season not so much.

I've been pondering the JSA secret for awhile now, and with all these hints that the old ISA is returning, I think I have the answer. From: Ice build up, and strong cold winds. Sports Master and Tigress showing up this season. Brainwave with Yolanda. The Shade looking for the Black Diamondback. I think I cracked the case: The JSA and the ISA teamed up to Seal away Ecilpso, but to do so at a terrible cost: A sacrifice, to trap ultimate evil, with a soul of equal good, the original Thunderbolt, unknown to him, and against his will, for the greater good. The Pen did say he is dead.
