Is it just me, or does Charlie Cox nail his on-screen dynamics with every single one of his female co-stars. From Rosario (Claire), to Deborah (Karen) to Elodie (Elektra) to Krysten (Jessica) and now Tatiana (Jennifer) His return as Daredevil and his chemistry with Jennifer did not disappoint, and I really hope to see more of those two paired together in the future! Hopefully she makes an appearance in the Born Again series!

Charlie Cox is so good. Drama or comedy, he nails it as Matt every time.

Having Matt and Jen spend the whole episode down bad for each other is honestly a really smart writing move, on top of being funny and endearing, since being super casual about sex is one of the few things both their shows have in common.

It was refreshing to see Charlie Cox hold his own in a comedy. I know him from the gritty Netflix Daredevil series and Boardwalk Empire (solid dramas). Had no idea there would be a romance angle. Pleasantly surprised by it. They had solid onscreen chemistry and banter.

"How did you know about the jet fuel?" Jen, please ... he's a really good lawyer.

I nearly cried for Jen at the end. It was all so fucked up how they set her up like that and now she’s branded a monster. AND still gonna have to deal with the stolen blood and shit next episode. Fuck Josh. Great episode, it felt more balanced. I know Daredevil is a huge reason for that, because of having to intertwine the worlds, but they should keep this balance in mind moving forward.

After finally meeting someone, and feeling accepted and desired as Jen and She-Hulk, she gets revenge p*rned, my heart dropped. Also the way Megan Thee Stallion has been her smartest client all season 😭poor Jen

What I hate is the fact that people try to say that her going off isn’t the right way to act. Put any one of us in that situation, what would you do?

That ending...........they had us riding high with DD and that great love between them going on. Then they just tear everything down and leave Jen in the worst situation. The end really was a great call back to what Bruce said in episode 1, "once they start seeing you as a monster that never goes away" I look forward to the finale and how that is handled for sure!

Having seen where this show was headed with that dark but effective cliffhanger, I feel like I enjoy the earlier episodes more than when I first watched them. I gave some of the middle ones a hard time but now it all makes sense. Legitimately excited and intrigued for the finale next week. (Also Charlie Cox is absolute perfection with Daredevil)

I like how this episode builds upon Civil War and the discussion on the accords. Matt had a point. I mean, look what happened to Peter when he got doxxed.

Last time we saw Matt Murdock/Daredevil was in Spider-Man No Way Home. It's Incredible to see him again.

Wakanda seriously needs its own Damage Control-esque team e.g. a subset/off-shoot of the Dora Milaje like the Midnight Angels that goes around the world recovering valuable vibranium items like that spear!

I think you guys missed the motivations of Intelligencia. They hate Jen because they idolize the Hulk being a lonely nerd who becomes powerful and, being incels, they see Jen as undeserving of that power. They see her as "stealing" the Hulk's power because she's getting so much media attention while Bruce has virtually none. So I think in taking her blood they're trying to find a way of "stealing" that power for themselves

Tony Stark made his own suits. He didn't need to buy them like that Frog dude.

This show went full Chekov’s Gun in the penultimate episode! Bruce warned her! All those micro-aggressions accumulated! The real Hulk came out to play!

Her anger is totally justified, her actions were not. When you have that much power, you don’t get to loose your temper. Great power, great responsibility etc etc… Which is exactly what Bruce warned her about in episode one. It’s almost like the show has character arcs and themes and actual talented writers :)

Anyone else feel this? When the revenge porn went up, for some reason it really reminded me of Veronica Mars. The shot of the film from behind as she was on top was the same shot of Veronica that was put out. Now, Veronica wasn't a Hulk, but her response was savage. That Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers reference made sense for dancing. Ginger did everything Fred did backwards and in high heels. But it’s weirdly messed up for lawyers.

When Daredevil wore a yellow-black costume in his first comics, he was written much more comical. He got grimmier later ( The Elektra saga did add to that). I think this was more like the original Daredevil. How do you think the line "i am Daredevil"compares to "i am Batman", since Daredevil and Batman are often compared.

Okay, I'll admit it. I was upset when people were so focused on Daredevil and not Jen when it's her show like she said in the first episode, but Daredevil does seem cool. I never got around to watching the show but maybe I should. Not sure if he'd have the same humor and joke cracking in a dark and gritty show like he did in this, but maybe someone who has seen it can clarify. But, I honestly wish they didn't keep teasing him in trailers so it could have actually been a surprise. I much rather have seen shocked reactions rather than everybody expecting it and complaining about it for weeks. And I also do the Wakanda Forever thing all the time! It's a Marvel thing so there's nothing wrong with doing it so I understand completely because it's cool! I also love how we got both a Red Hulk and Wolverine easter egg literally within 5 seconds of each other.

Funny fact: 4 of the women on stage were actual real lawyers, who just happened to be women. The Leapfrog Light and leap pad, all of the things Leapfrog messed up on. In the parking lot, the Rogers Musical was on the left and a QR code with the She-Hulk comic book was on the telephone pole. #OperationKickJoshAss is in effect...lol

I didn't find the "walk of shame" to be bad although I have never believed in the idea of a walk of shame anyway. If you are leaving a lovers home after having had sex then what exactly is shameful about the walk. You were deemed to be (loveable, sexy or whatever) enough to be a partner to someone.....most people talking about walks of shame WISH they were making that walk. I also like that in beating Daredevil, She-Hulk actually hit upon a weakness that he has. It made sense in the fight. Overall a very good episode and I do like that Jen is eating her words for her arrogance in the first episode where Bruce tried to tell her from experience that once they see you as the monster that never goes away and she tried to lecture him about her being able to control her anger better than him. Sad that it happened the way it did, but at least she was able to stop herself before someone got seriously hurt.

26:28 I could kind of see why the first episode was originally the next-to-last one if it's tackling the aspect of regular anger being possibly catastrophic and the whole thing of "when the world sees you as a monster, that never goes away."

I think, if they have her blood, this will be the start of the other famous hulks like Red Hulk , Amadeus Cho, and I think there are a few others, but it would be a way to set up more hulks. And Todd bought a vibranium spear which he asked she-hulk if she was weak to vibranium. I think he made the needle out of vibranium.

The "backwards and high heels" line was a paraphrase of a quote by former Texas governor Ann Richards: "Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did. She just did it backwards and in high heels." It comes off as offhanded offensive, but knowing the context, It's more of, "Just as good while facing more difficult circumstances."

Chris, regarding your hesitancy about Daredevil's brutality: I still have faith, it feels like they were having Matt match the tone of this show, I still hold out hope his show will be absolutely brutal.

Regardless of what anyone says…the build up to this moment at the end of the episode made me feel all of the emotions when they showed her face :(. I felt wayyy more than any other Marvel Disney Plus show aside from WandaVision and the Moonknight abuse reveal.

Awesome episode. I loved She-Hulk and Daredevil's interaction in this episode. It's great to see Luke Jacobson again. Daredevil doing the walk of shame was funny. Intelligencia has no chill. Overall I've been enjoying She-Hulk. Dammit, Leap-Frog. Daredevil fan since 1986. I had an inkling that The Southern California Law Female of The Year Award was set up by Intelligencia. Jen went full Hulk and ultimately lost her self-control for the first time, mirroring the way Bruce Banner's Hulk acted in the early days of the MCU. Some easter eggs for this episode. The Sokovia Accords, according to Matt Murdock, have been repealed. Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, has become an essential part of Phase 4, making several cameos ahead of his MCU Disney+ TV show. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 8 takes a lighter tone with the character, demonstrating his quick wits as seen in the comics when he worked alongside Spider-Man.Todd coerces Jennifer Walters into meeting him so he can show off a photograph of his Wakandan war spear. It's interesting to see Wakandan artifacts for sale, albeit only on the black market and as collector's items. Todd paid one million dollars for it. She-outfit Hulk's is a brilliant purple and white ensemble inspired by more modern interpretations of the character, which is thankfully more tasteful than some of her classic low-cut outfits. Meanwhile, Daredevil ditches his traditional blood-red costume in favor of a mustard-yellow costume straight from the comics. Daredevil's yellow super-suit was a tribute to his father, Battlin' Jack Murdock, at the time. Daredevil's introduction in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 8 is delightful, with the classic Marvel Netflix theme tune playing in the background. She-Hulk breaks the fourth wall to speculate that the series finale will feature a Red Hulk. There is a Red Hulk in the comics, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, though he is unlikely to appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

The MC's line about women doing everything backwards and in high heels is actually a sweet and empowering reference to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. They were dance partners in films, but she never got the recognition he did. A cartoonist named Bob Thaves wrote a line in a Frank and Ernest comic that said, "Sure he was great, but don't forget Ginger Rogers did everything he did, and in high heels!" Since Fred was the leader in their dances, she would have to do the same moves he did, but reversed, and yeah, in high heels. So now you can stop being so offended by the joke you didn't understand whatsoever. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Frog Man from the comics was a really incompetent villain. Basically a threat to no one. Then his son became the next Frog Man. He decided to become a hero to restore his father's name, only he was as bad at being a hero as Dad was at being a villain.

I love how the discussion went to artifacts and museums because I also watched John Oliver's last show and it's such a hot topic right now. Only if your country is run by people like ISIS (the ones actually destroying their own history), ONLY in cases like that (some parts of Syria, basically) you should probably "keep" the artifacts from that country. But other places with less-than-great governments? Who cares? It's their history. If they f*** it up by accident, it's up to them. I have a crazy theory, what if Nikki is the one behind everything? Imagine is she was the one in charge of Intelligencia. Some people seem to think they notice Nikki looking at the camera when she and Book were talking about the website.

FWIW, the "only backward" bit is a reference to Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire's brilliant dance partner way back in the day, who was described as the only person able to match Fred's dancing, only she was "able to do it backward." It's a super deep cut that I'm guessing most will not catch.

The scene where Jennifer thought that the episode was over and it wasn't was very ominous. It like she's aware this is a show and she's aware when it ends but in this episode she was caught off gaurd that the episode didn't end as yet, and the gala was in this episode. It almost as if someone wanted the gala to happen now, Maybe Nikki isn't who we think she is? I get a feeling that she's not the one controlling the series like I thought 🤔.
