The desperation of the flash guy breaking his hands punching Omni man is a great introduction to the absolute horror in the show. He is so helpless he is doing g literally everything he can and it’s not doing anything.

The way amber is written in the show is literally the definition of a toxic relationship. A person creating problems based on things they either already know or know the other person can't really help. So it makes sense the character is being hated on--but theres still redemption for her in the future.

The pet line is more of a comparison type thing. He lives for 1,000s of years and a human will live for a scant fraction of that. So it's like us having a pet that lives for 8-12 years. He does love her, but a Viltrumite may have hundreds of spouses in their life depending on the spouse's lifespan. Think about how crushed you would be if you lost your spouse. Now imagine enduring that 100+ times in your life. I think he has to limit the emotion that he gives someone otherwise it would be maddening. It's still F'd up that he said it out loud to his son, though.

As someone who knows the full story of the infinite comic series... I am *insanely* curious how the series is gonna handle Omni Man if it ever comes back. Cause hoo hoo hoo boy it has *only* just begun

I started watching "Invincible" originally because I'm a fan of Zachary Quinto, the actor who voices "Robot" but I loved the show. Another great Amazon Prime show you should check out, if you haven't already, is "The Boys". Jensen Ackles is joining the cast for Season 3 and the first two seasons are a lot of fun. Violent but fun.

Speaking on Amber, I feel she is the most hated character in the show, next is Rex but I don’t like Amber for the fact that she’s always trippin. Now I was kinda on her side a little bit until Mark told her he was a superhero and she responded by saying “I know”. Like that pissed me off greatly because she knew he was being a superhero and saving lives, which is the reason why he couldn’t hangout with her lame ass, but she still chose to whine and trip about everything😤 I hated her after that

Amber had ground to stand on up until the point she told mark that she's known for *weeks* that he was a super hero. At that point it recontextualizes every fight they've gotten into over that same time period, including the spat they just had at the college. You know, where she busted his balls in front of everybody and then proceeded to attend a party with the clear intention of cheating on Mark, only to get the rug yanked out from her when the dude who invited her turned out to be spoken for already. That entire argument they had in her room made her look like a petty bitch, and then the lion, the witch, and the *audacity* of this bitch to come throw herself in his arms after his dad kicked his ass across the planet, literally, and tried to equate that royal ass whooping to him lying to her about his secret identity to protect her from psychos who whole ass would have roasted her over an open fire right in front of him just to spite him. She belongs to the *streeeeeets*

Well Amber was a horrible disaster... Like when she got mad at him for taking off pretending he was a coward... When she KNEW he was the one who was fighting the robot at the college... and I think all the moments they had the audience go "oh damn she's going to feel so bad when she finds out... It's just a misunderstanding poor amber" then you find out SHE KNEW THE WHOLE TIME?! turns all those moments where you felt bad for her not understanding to betrayal and anger and frustration... I mean good writing in a sense cause that doesn't happen often but at the same time was horrible writing cause they really fucked that character over botched seppuku style... Kinda like Shane from walking dead... Damn I hate that role he did a great job but shit I hated the hell out of him...

Amber gets hate because of that trash between episodes six and seven. Amber mad dogs Mark after the cyborg attack and accuses him of running like a coward. The next episode has her brushing off his big reveal and saying she had known he was a superhero for weeks. Okay, so what the hell was that public ass-ripping literally the day before? Why would she pretend to not know? Was it just to punish Mark for having other priorities? Was Mark supposed to keep playing scared civilian and allow William to get greased by a crazed cyborg? Amber is either toxic or got crippled by poor writing. Either way, Mark needs to hit that rebound and get with Eve.

The reason amber gets hate is bc they took someone who in the comics is loving understanding and selfless to a nasty mean spirited hypocrite who “does good deeds”

Ohey, there's a channel that might be fun for you guys to react to, it's called "Exlosions&Fire", it's an australian chemistry student, in his shed, going through the processes and struggles of making small amounts of interesting chamicals and explosives, and he never fails to test what he makes. Very funny guy, the videos are genuinely interesting and entertaining, well worth a look. My recommendation for a great video to start with would be "Recreating Old Alchemy Explosives", where he discusses and remakes the very first explosives in history, and rags on old world alchemists for having no idea what they were doing, it's a great watch!

Hot take: Omni-man is a dad that cares enough to shed a tear over his son and then think about changing his ways, he can’t stay on earth a just ‘back to normal’ regular Tuesday after his massacre so he leaves on the lamb so his kid can actually try to life a life and be still accepted by society hero-hierarchy. (His son can’t survive according to his worlds standards but Omni-man didn’t finish him off he left him and that’s about as human as Omni-man could ever be and was a wild amount of growth/confrontation of how your raised and what you do doesn’t have to be right or the only way. He didn’t leave him out of pity he left him out of caring too much.) That anger of caring about something so much is what villainy is. And when you’re the only surviving fighter how are you proved wrong when you exist in a survival of the fittest perspective. It’s hard to convince someone that thinks and acts like they’re the best/right that they’re evil/wrong. When what they do ensures their survival/longevity. when there’s disagreement to that existence forming out of society and becoming societal expectation. You break the cycle and stop being the villain and that’s kinda exactly what Omni-man does so as for villains he doesn’t stay a villain by the end of his arch. Or atleast his heart has changed in a grinch way and he’ll come back with a different vibe all together or a doubling down seeing if Marc can beat him and survive a fight in a sorta (winner takes it all/suicide all in) villain mode.

That scene was just executed in slow motion for the viewer to closely see what was happening as well as build tension, he actually crushed RR's head rather quickly and RR was actually punching Onmi-man at super speed, thus how he broke his hands and caused Onmi-man's suit to tear and his skin to burn via friction
