WineScribble visits the beautiful mountain village of Omodos in the wine producing region of Krasochoria (the Wine Villages). We walk around the village square with its trademark Medieval cobblestones; we drink in the atmosphere and sample some local wine!

I absolutely love Omodos too, I went with some very dear friends in 2018. It also helps that I like Ktima Gerolemo wines as much as I do, too! Thanks for bringing back some great memories :)

The cats in Omodos are very friendly! I suspect they are used to everyone petting them! So cute!

That’s just a Cyprus thing the have a large feral cat population and they are all very friendly. Each village seems to have there own population and in the cities of Cyprus almost every apartment building has its own resident cat. In my time there I noticed the locals seem to feed the cats.
