Its the same metal geared servos, just a plastic housing instead on cnc alloy and plastic landing gear and metal boom is a durability improvement on all v2s

Recently I bought one of these. They are absolutely incredible, by far the best micro I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had a few. I’m loving it more and more every time I connect a battery.

Couldn't agree more Paul. OMP are the best make of RC heli we have flight tested. Super stable and good for all ranges of ability.

I got the m2 v2,,its an animal, build quality is bang on,100s of KZfaq videos on these omps ,not 1 bad word ,top video

On the video It is bloody fast and I got one myself a few weeks ago and it’s even faster in person and it’s very good and outperforms itself as it flies like a dream. This is the BEST micro-heli I’ve ever flown and I’d 100% recommend this for even beginners who are new to the hobby as this thing is absolutely astonishing.

I have one question with my m2 explorer I just got. When I turn it on there are faint but sharp noises coming out of the on board system and I don't know if that's normal or not. It does it quite often and just want to make sure it's normal.

just got one and love how easy it was to set up to spectrum. it is the best micro i have ever flown hands down and power is insane people get one.

I recently crashed mine and the only damage was a missing pros and cons linkage, a snapped pros and cons and a dent in the tail boom

Have a look on banggood.com or OMP themselves. Maybe stock up on those spare parts at the start.

Well, it comes into the price range where I would consider buying a heli again. But sadly, I have to put aside some money for the Freewing SU 29 😁

Essential RC product page says it supports spectrum satellites and has ports for the satellites, it doesn’t say it’s bind and fly for spectrum. Am I missing anything?

@@qathemhajjar7909 You are correct. The only transmitter it can directly bind to is their own transmitter. Should you wish to bind it to Spektrum then you need the little satellite or if you wish to bind it to Futaba then you need the little S-bus receiver plugged in.

Managed to get the M2 EXP at Christmas, have done the required pre-steps and it is now bound to my dx6e radio. I use switch B for flight-mode changing where position 0 is for normal/SAFE, position 1 for idle up 1 and position 2 for idle up 2. With the radio on and flight mode switch at 0, I plug a battery into the heli and after it has initialized, I see a solid red light (on left-hand side) and a solid blue light (on right-hand side) in the tiny LED window on the flybarless controller. Does this mean that stabilization/self-levelling is active? In idle up 1 and 2, the red led blinks whilst the blue stays solid. Does that sound correct?
