As a Nepali working abroad there isn’t a single day that goes by without thinking “maybe I should go back” but what if… stops me. Everytime. Today some other kind of emotion arise while listening to this podcast. Anil dai, please work like how you have been doing to build the highway. I will come back soon and join you. These days , hearing what prominent and influential personalities say over the media very rarely brings smiles . This is one of the very few interview- I was smiling, happy and sometimes in tears throughout the show. ( of joy- when we have that emotional feeling that something positive and good will happen to our loved ones) And the loved one - is “Nepal”

Thanks for your positivity and hope. Let’s shift our focus from showcasing “world renowned” doctors as success stories and labeling “khet ma kaam garne” as unsuccessful. Nepal’s development hinges on appreciating farmers and improving their lives. We should be thinking of improving tools, techniques, research, towards making young people interested in agricultural works. We must change the perspective of demeaning farmers and farm works. Instead of comparing success, let’s highlight those who lack ambition, refuse to work, are lazy, act unethically, engage in corruption, harm society, or indulge in harmful behavior. Success isn’t solely about extreme fame; it comes in various forms!

Development doesn't hinge on one factor. If you only focus on agriculture who is going to improve tools? Society needs people exceeling in every fields. People that say Nepal is agricultural country are dumb brainwashed people. Agriculture was one of human's first occupation, so what do you think people are going to do if they have no other skills? Have you herd how much youth are making from IT field? There is no one solution for all problems. We need people exceling in every field including agriculture.

At 5:25, is that an attempt to make the Rana regime look good? Let's break it down: - They crushed any democratic voice. - Left Nepal isolated from global advancements. - Policies? Benefited the elite, leaving the masses in the dust. - Cultural suppression and lack of true national growth. - Economic stagnation and monopolies. - Their policies ensured that the Nepalese public remained poor. The Ranas owned large tracts of land, leaving many as landless tenants (According to historical records, by the 1930s, less than 10% of Nepal's cultivated land was freely owned, leading to massive socio-economic disparities) A sprinkle of gold doesn’t cleanse a tarnished legacy.
