Awesome vid. Thanks for the effort in getting that camera angle. Next time I vote for the same camera angle with braking telemetry overlay so us mortals can quantify his braking/lever effort with respect to lean angle. :-)

Almost no pressure on the lever...the combination of hydraulic and engine braking must be just FENOMENAL on those machines!

So interesting how he changes how many fingers he uses to brake! index, index and middle and sometimes all 4 fingers.
@amaanhaider89974 жыл бұрын
Its probably because of different corners, in some corners where he has to brake hard he uses all 4 fingers and in others where he doesn't have to brake super hard he just uses his index or middle finger

I do the same on my MTB and Etc. Switch between 1 to 3 fingers, got long levers
@bassel.m29883 жыл бұрын
Its because sometimes he needs to give or maintain the throttle while trail braking. Other times he doesn't need the throttle so he gives all fingers to the brake.

If you pay attention very closely. You get a great visual of how counter steering works when making right hand turn.

I can’t figure out why at 3:20 the world suddenly shifted a bit. Did he fully laid the bike down then recovered? Or it slipped a bit? Or his knee puck fell off the curb onto the main surface so the bike moved with his knee? The camera seemed securely attached to the bike so dont think it shifted…

Braking so much no traction on rear no point. (Some times rear is in the air) They do trail it in turns tho.

Nice, but I'd love to see that on a bike without a quick shifter, so much more technique to make it all smooth.
I brake like him too. Not sure how people can do it with first finger or both fingers. I can grip better like how he does it.

I've ridden 2 seasons of trackdays and always used 2 fingers. I don't need more, but then again I don't ride a MotoGP bike either.
