I love Alicia Vikander! I love her so much

As someone w a silly cinema degree I love this. And Alicia playing not straight (maybe her character is bi) and having an intense relationship w her previous assistant is very interesting.

I'm so excited for episode 3. Currently there are so many different things happening and the characters are all interesting, especially the French lady who is working with Mira.

Alicia Vikander is right up there with Jessica Chastain as one of the greatest actors in the world today. She's incredible.

This show is simply, the BEST 👌🏼.

You do your preparation. But the real magic happens on set in the moment the art creates itself. She's right. I never saw that before. An interesting concept. I think she meant to say in the moment when the "art is created." The art does not create itself. It is created by artists. Sometimes on purpose, other times as an accident. But it doesnt happen without artists. Semantics. I know what she is saying. She raises the bar for every project she contributes to. (Say hi to Fassbender for me.) I have seen some brief scenes from the movie and the power dynamic is in full play here. I am somewhat triggered by these power dynamics.

I watch it all ! The only good thing is not the story but Alicia Vikander who is so charming in this series! The series just talk about the essence of cinema, blablabla too much talk but nothing really shown in it! Maybe I need to be on drug to be more emotivally captivated by it??? lol! Even in the series when the crazy film director talked about his series, the main actor who is normal Irma Vep laugh a bit or has always her smile, thinking, right, right, right, you're delusional but thats 'okay like she's mothering him. She's the youngest of the cast but maybe the more mature one lol. And maybe, this show is about it, a real delusional French filmmaker who studied cinema too much that they think they made a masterpiece but the general audience can't enter inside because this universe is only imagined and inside the director's head. What we see and what the director 's imagine we see are 2 different things! I watched the series because Alicia Vikander was too charming to not pass what could be arrive to her until the end of the series. So this series just resume how French directors think they create masterpiece cinema but in reality, most of the time, their show only rely on popular and stars actors like Vkiander! The series shows what happens in real life? LOL!

I binged 5 x after finding Irma. I just don't think Alicia is right for the part she plays. I'd sooner see the Laura character as Irma who appears earnest in being viewed as a nice person. A nice girl next door soft woman transforming into a vampire. NOPE. Lars Eidinger is a genius. I felt the same way about Julia Roberts playing the part of Martha Mitchell in Gaslit. What a waste! I can say the same thing about the titular casting in Becoming Elizabeth. Perrier in a coke bottle.
