I want to know the essential routines needed to replicate even just a small fraction of their abilities. As stated by Sir Pheelyp , you can't give what you don't have , that is why he emphasized the crucial role of reading for us to get prepared to whatever topic that might be asked in the actual IELTS exam. It is not enough to know all the grammar rules , or even ways on how to structure your paragraphs. What matters most is the content of your essay and how relevant your arguments are based on the given questions.

I really admire Sir Brian when he writes essay on the spot with his laptop. :) so satisfying :) and so inspiring mapapa - "SANA ALL" kana lang talaga when you read his final output. I really hate writing essays but when I took my IELTS exam way back in 2016, I was surprised when I learned that I got 7 on this subtest. how to entroll writing sir?

My biggest struggle when it comes to writing is that I can't seem to express my thoughts....like I have some ideas or thoughts that I can't put into words-can't say it or write it down.....it's as if I forgot how to speak or write in english...... I'm assuming it may be because I don't read a lot (lack of knowledge/general info) and I may have a very limited vocabulary...... 😭I will be taking the IELTS soon.....I really need some more tips to pass it....for now I am doing a self-study self-review cause we can't afford to enroll at a learning center...and it's hard for someone who hasn't been to school and is only a GED graduate...... by the way I was homechooled (I never had a teacher or supervisor of my own...which made studying less motivating and challenging... more like boring) I only reached 7th grade then took a GED test....luckily, I passed and got the opportunity to attend a uni and then boom!!!.... I suffered from culture shock and well other things such low self-confidence and well having a feeling that you're the dumbest person in the world.....I don't even know how to do paperworks......I always had to bother my classmates to teach me how to do every little thing and of course my profs didn't care.... (they say that's normal for college students) so yeah....good luck to me.....
