Excerpt from an interview with John Gray, an English political philosopher. Grey draws a connection between utopian thinking in political thought, and apocalyptic religion, and I speculate a bit on how that might influence how we as the general public engage with politics.

At the time, Gray was promoting his book, Black Mass, which presents his thoughts in depth, and which I have but I confess I have not read yet.
