These are just awesome races, awesome cars. Bathurst is an amazing circuit. If only we has something like this is the States. You guys in Australia are very lucky.

I'm a Ford guy as well. How in the world did Ford AU allow Team Vodafone get away? That was a HUGE mistake! You don't let the best driver and team get away. What a plus for Holden.

DTM Race Driver 2 and 3 have Bathurst, and V8 Supercars with all National and International Race Tracks.

fpr and djr have had some success but 888 is the championship and Bathurst winning team - Ford should be pouring money into that team - it also has the best drivers.

@amnickable - GM is not billions in debt anymore, and Holden is in a much stronger position in Australia than Ford. I bet Ford wished they backed 888 now - they are dominating.

@amnickable - Six out of six for Holden. Not true about the profit - you can check the annual reports if you like. Anyway, I hope both manufacturers can survive but Ford will be lucky to be around in Australia in 5 years.
