It will consume/eat standard parts, and fish as well so be aware of that. I’ve been looking for a new spot to find it on my alt character, so thank you for the video!

@@VORT3Xgaming so I caught another. It’s not consuming parts but I do have fish meat, and my goodness does that thing eat. Lol. One fish meat every 5-10 minutes. Good tip is once it’s at 100% you can turn it off. So turn it off when you get offline so it won’t eat.

@@VORT3XgamingYup it does, and you still get the anomalous property. I attached it to a switch then when it gets to 100%, turn it off. Using the switch makes it so it doesn’t count towards my other wattage in the territory.

@@merlins_beardd thank you for the tip and another from @Glitchiz I now have 2 Eels running as I found out they stack and both on switches so I can turn them off to not use power once 100%! This is amazing. All my generators now at 30W and no power used by either of them!

UPDATE: Electric eel location has a higher chance to catch located to Heart shape island at the north point of the island (YOU CAN USE ANY BAIT)

Might be true? I showed it's possible in the video at the dock spot. I have done it twice there now, about 20 casts both times. If you spent over 40 casts and no eel maybe try here

can confirm eel , rainbow trout, eel, pike all in just under 30 min, then 2 more eels 1 pike and a salmon in 45 min 2 line brakes. thats my new fishin spot

The best place to find the eel for low-level players is in deep water; if you are having trouble getting it at the Deadsville marina, move your fishing spot to near the underside of the vehicular bridge.

Ive been trying to get it from that area. One time I used all 40 baits I had and still no luck. I will keep trying though! Thanks for the video at least i know its possible.

60 casts in that spot...almost an entire in game day...I did fail to retrieve one, wonder if that was the eel?

Any ideas on why it wont stay happy goes to 100% Secure then turns yellow and start dropping securement %? If I remove it and put it back in then its happy again till 100% secure then the cycle repeats

I was having similar issues with my 2nd eel today. Both are next to each other with the same surroundings... Once it got to 100% I turned the power off using a switch I added and seems to be fine now. I don't know the cause :(

I did over 250 before i got one and then 20 casts later i got a 2nd one.

I have found the actual secret to catching Eels. I can catch one right after the other over and over with no issues. I have 10 in my cradle now. @@matthewbreining7079
