Oh lovely, Ironstrange is a great ship! I will definitely read all of your recs. I have been reading a whole lot of time travel fix-its lately, I find that it's a very interesting concept that can be explored in so many ways. My rec for this month will also be centred around Tony Stark, but with another partner, namely Loki. Frostiron has become somewhat of an obsession for me lately. The fic is called "If you had this time again" and is written by dls. It has a wordcount of 268,035. So it is quite long, but definitely worth it. It's a time travel fic (suprise), where Tony closes his eyes in the Siberian bunker and wakes up in New York four year earlier. The fic then works it's way through almost every movie up until infinity war, and does it very believable. All the characters are very well written and the worldbuilding is amazing. If anyone wants more long and sweet Ironstrange fics I have two for you ! 1) "Scars on your heart" by SailorChibi. A time travel fic where Tony decide to go back to one week before Thanos arrived. He decide that Stephen is his best ally. It is a very sweet fic with a suffering Tony and a caring Stephen. Just wonderful. 2) "Love it if we made it" by ironstrangepls. This is an incredible Infinity War rewrite with amazing ideas and new moments. It is about the Supreme Family when they are on the ship to Titan. The characters are sooo perfect. A must read. Finally, I would love to see more specifics Fic Rec Friday videos like this one with a mix of your recommandations and ours. It is really fun !!

I read so many Nat&Tony fics right now because I always loved the possibility of them having a really close friendship and right now I need them

I've been wallowing in the IronStrange fandom again since coming out of Endgame, Slight of hands and the spider and the sorcerer are two that I've come back to a couple of times already. If I say I love you by Imagined and Out of Focus by VisionaryGalaxy are both very interesting takes on the soulmate trope, which take you on journeys through a range of time as the two idiots figure it all out. If I say I love you is 1chapter, 12155 words, where they figure out thier soulmates before Strange's accident but are both in love with someone else and originally decide to be platonic until their lives change. Out of focus is 1 chapter, 8416 words, where first touch of a soulmate brings colour to a black and white world and the death of a soulmate takes away the colour. They first touch in a crowd and can't seem to keep dying. If soulmate fics aren't your thing maybe try a time travel fix-it like A second chance (to get it right) by DobbyRocksSocks 1 chapter, 22615 words. Stephen sends Tony back to 2010 as the way to win against Thanos.

I've been mostly reading bnha fics lately, as well as rereading some old favorites. I'm weak for crack treated seriously and must recommend "I remember the looks on their faces (through the sycamore trees)" by blackkat on ao3. It's part of a series but should be understandable on its own. It is a Naruto fic focusing on spy Kiba.

I'm really glad you decided to focus on this ship for the month, because I've been wanting to read some IronStrange for a while but I had no idea where to start. Thank you for all these awesome recs! I only have one rec this month, because most of what I read didn't really stand out as rec-worthy to me, I guess. It's a Neko Atsume fic called Cat, Companion by mesonyx, word count 2795. It's told in second person (which it does an excellent job with) and adds a bit of a narrative to a game like Neko Atsume that doesn't have a narrative at all. I quite enjoyed it.

I'm reading a lot of Tony Stark fluff because I still can't handle Endgame, but I wanted to rec one fanfic that it's simply amazing: Anew by IViv archiveofourown.org/works/11985126/chapters/27111240 In that fic Tony is in the Siberia bunker when he somehow travels back in time to the end of his birthday party in Iron Man 2. It has a little Team Cap bash, but they aren't that out of character. But I can't recommend enough

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Phantom Menace, so I have been reading lots of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi fics. My current favorite series, with some nice QuiObi, is Beekeeping and Husbandry by Meggory on ao3. It's a mammoth, over 135k, but so worth it. Lots of hurt/comfort, Qui-Gon coping with never being able to go out on the field, misunderstandings and slow-burn romance. One of the tags is "Mace Windu unfucks the timeline AU", as in it's Mace who is the one to try and fix everything and stop Anakin from falling. Really original, and definitely worth a read if you haven't read it yet and QuiObi is your thing.

While I basically pair Tony Stark with just about near anyone in the Marvel Universe (and sometimes outside Marvel), I have read a sad like of IronStrange. I am very excited to delve into all these recs and get more of glimpse into this pairing. I mean, after Infinity War and Endgame, how could I not pair them? For anyone interested in some more rarer pairs with Iron Man here are a few recs I personally enjoyed as well. (Sorry, no more IronStrange since I am just getting into that one myself) All of these can be found on ao3: Till Now by SailorChibi (Peter Quill/Tony Stark) - In this world everyone is born with two soulmarks. One soulmark leads to the one you are destined for and the other leads to the person who will be consider your greatest enemy. Do Every Stupid Thing by thepartyresponsible (Bucky Barnes/Tony Stark/Jason Todd) - an alternate universe and crossover universe with DC. These three may be complete dumpster fires, but they are each others dumpster fire. Just the way the author has everything progress - it's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. walkin' on sunshine by wanderseeing (Scott Lang/Tony Stark) - Honestly, just super adorable. Scott is precious. Blue As True As Blue Can Be by aaralyn (Bruce Banner/Tony Stark) - Tony has mutant powers that he has been trying to keep hidden all his life. Debts by d_aia (T'Challa/Tony Stark) - Tony saves T'Chaka and things go from there. I really do need to fully immerse myself back into this fandom! Anyway, I am of to read one the IronStrange recs before work.😊

YES! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS! I just love every Tony's ships. I just want him to be happy and I want people to love him and appreciate him, because honestly, this are things he deserved but never got. (Besides Pepper and Rhodes, they were the only constants in his life. But even with them Marvel just likes to see every version of Tony Stark suffer, that's why I love fanfics.) Also RDJ is such a flirt, it's so cool to ship his characters lol.

Also as for the type of fics I'm reading lately, I'm mainly just sticking to a lot of Naruto, BNHA and Castlevania fics right now, mainly Kakashi/Yamato, Endeavor/Hawks and Alucard/Trevor ones. I've got one Trevorcard fic that I want to rec but mind, it is a WIP and somewhat of a slow burn and has a few chapters to go, but what is there is great, it's called Whiter Fang and it's a fic that deals with Trevor finding an injured Alucard in his wolf form and him basically becoming his companion and them bonding while Trevor doesn't know he's actually a vampire and then the whole issue of Trevor being a vampire hunter and Alucard being a vampire is there and it's a pretty funny fic and super in-character and one of my favorite fics for the pairing; archiveofourown.org/works/17399888/chapters/40954685

I am glad I missed all the character bashing with Tony and Steve. Sounds aweful. I'm rather new to the MCU, I started to see all the movies after falling in love with Doctor Strange (magic rules!) and IronStrange became my pairing after Infinity War. I would also love to see more (platonic!) development between Peter and Dr Strange, so The Spider and the Sorcerer sounds like my cup of tea, I'll go check it out.

As for what I've been binging lately, originally it was Dissidia Final Fantasy fics because I had recently gotten into the game but then I shifted over to the Scum Villain's Self-Saving System fandom. SVSSS is a Chinese webnovel that pokes fun at the isekai genre that's popular in anime right now by having the main protagonist reincarnate after his death into the webnovel he hated and as the villain instead of the protagonist, to add insult to injury, since the villain brutally murdered by the hero at the end of the original canon. The majority of the story deals with the trope savy villain protagonist trying to advert his possible brutal ending while being forced to stay in character. It's definitely something I recommend checking out! (Unless you aren't big on swearing because the protagonist does that a lot.) I'll also rec a fic for the series. archiveofourown.org/works/18622630 High Mountain, How I Long by Minimalistess, chapters: 1, word count: 14,019. Despite his best efforts, Shen Qingqiu (protagonist) is put on trial for the crimes he supposedly committed and found guilty. His punishment? Being imprisoned in the palace owned by the in series protagonist, Luo Binghe, who spearheaded the trial against him. But as long as he just acts miserable and afraid, surely he won't be killed, right? This is a Shen Qingqiu/Luo Binghe fic.

I have been bingeing my way from current all the way back to the beginning on AO3 of fics tagged as Vampire AU. I love vampire fics and I'm sometimes amazed at how well some folks work in a vampire AU. I've pretty much read every fic in a fandom I think I might be even a little interested in. The tag is definitely dominated with Sherlock fics, featuring almost exclusively vampire Sherlock. Benedict definitely lends himself to vampire fics. There are also a bunch of vampire Hannibal fics, which is one of my biggest fandoms. When I haven't been working my way through the vampire AU fics, I've been bingeing Bucky/Sam fics. I was already in that binge before your video on them, but that definitely inspired a burning need for more of them. I adore understanding Sam fics helping Bucky recover. That leads me to my rec. "We were fire with no smoke" by notcaycepollard 15K words with a coda fic that's another 1K. archiveofourown.org/works/7903567/chapters/18053920 This is a vampire Bucky fic leading into a Sam/Bucky relationship, living with Steve. I liked their exploration of the Sam/Bucky relationship and a Catholic guilt Steve who is torn by his feelings and his faith.

Ripped at every edge (but your a master piece) by hpnutter it has 23chapters and is a work in progress also HP and Avenger with Fem Harry/tony 3.Wee little stark by Coca-Cola 99 a Darcy is Tony’s daughter fic it’s wump fluff and a completely unexpected twist at the end it’s a Bucky/Darcy fic so yay

When I actually read fic I usually do some sort of smut that interacts with Fame & is funny. Fics I've been bingeing lately: like the ones where a twink aesthetic gets shipped with a hunk they idolize? I chronically like fics that deal with Fame because attributed identity vs actual identity is a major theme in my life. So I guess maybe stucky fics. If what we imagine counts, I've been thinking of a lot of like AUs of the hunger games where the AU is IRL because of all the war-drums in USAmerican media right now. Also I've been thinking of the loneliness of Pete Wentz because I believe he was in a relationship with Mikey Way in the summer of 2005 aka the summer of like. I guess in the non-fiction world I've also been reading about conspiracy theories & how they interact with intergenerational transmission of trauma, so I guess I'm looking for fics about that. I might try to write some Hunger Games fics reflecting on that. Like I've seen those books as memoirs published in-world. That always made me wonder what kinda world she's working with. I know for sure they didn't have double jeopardy protection but still

Ok, so I think I have rec'd this in the past but it was a WIP at the time and now it is completed. It is a Harry Potter fanfic called Rewriting Destiny by mayawrites95. It is 76 chapters with a word count of 318,188 so very long but so worth the read. It is a Dramione time travel fix-it fanfic where after Voldy is defeated the Death Eaters still come into power through politics and Lucius Malfoy becomes minister so Draco and Hermione who are some of the few left alive to rebel go back in time to the Marauders era to try and fix things. It is really cool cuz the author really goes into pureblood politics with light, dark, and grey sides and into pureblood culture with tracing blood lines and inheriting family magic. Also I really love their exploration into the mind of Bellatrix and Peter. While I am not usually a Dramione fan I really did enjoy them as a couple in this fic cuz it was a slow burn romance which I enjoy and it was just well done. Ugh, waiting for them to get together is agonizingly slow but so worth it. There is so much more I want to mention but it is easier to understand my love for it by just reading the fic.

Lately I've been reading really dark fics, mostly whump. I just started rewatching Season of Jessica Jones last night so I was going throug the archive and found Peter Parker/Kilgrave fics. I read two of them and in one (set post-Peter's rescue and never finished) Peter has Stockholm Syndrome (I think), so yay. (I've been writing a lot of darkfic too, so reading helps to write them.)

I have been loving good omens fics lately but there aren’t many at the moment

I've been feeling a lot of fandom nostalgia lately and have been back on the Sterek train. Man, that fandom produces some of the most exceptional works! Probably by virtue of volume, but after spending a lot of time in comparably smaller fandoms, it'd forgotten just how much diversity there is. I have two Sterek fics to rec, not new ones but ones I've gone back to over and over. The first is a sex pollen fic that actually goes a bit differently than how a lot of sex pollen fics do (ie they don't have sex) It explores the ethics of sex pollen and especially in the case of Derek with his history. It's a really interesting take on the trope, and possibly my favourite! It's called Those Who Wait by KouriArashi (1 chapter; 7,404 words) archiveofourown.org/works/789976 The other is one of my favourite tropes and possibly the most underrated one, the "National Supernatural Conference" fic. Stiles has to pretend to be Derek's mate so he doesn't end up married off to another pack at the conference. I've seen some recs below but I thought I'd toss in a few of my own IronStrange recs (not my own fics, I always feel rude rec'ing my own fics.) for those who might be interested "Citizen Erased" by Imagined is a long, very slow burn fic that I feel puts the plot ahead of the romance, though not without care at all for it. Conceptually, Tony has been cursed so that no one remembers who he is and he's been cast out of everywhere and has nothing left. DC fics are my cup of tea as of right now. Namely I find tha superflarrow relationship fairly interesting to explore (tha shipping name for Oliver Queen/Barry Allen/Kara Danvers)

I haven’t been binging many fics lately but I have been writing quite a few. My favorite out of them so far is Bad Man where Tim gets deaged by Ivy and Jason is in charge of caring for this five year old who has no memory of the Batfam (archiveofourown.org/works/18469549/chapters/43759738). I also did a sort of impromptu Arrowverse fic that studies the group (mainly Oliver) finds out that Roy is related to Vandal Savage (which was true in the comics at one point) and the chaos that erupts when Oliver doesn’t tell him (archiveofourown.org/works/18926266).

Giiiiiirrrrrrlll - I haven't left love for a while and I'll soooo sorry. Busy busy busy. I do have fo highly recommend Strange/Loki. It's not a pairing you would think of at first but it WORKS. So I have plunged headfirst into the BTS (south Korean pop band and owners of my soul) fandom. I impromptu bought tickets to go see their show in NJ and went by myself. It was a time to end all times. As many KPop/jpop bands do... there's lots of closeness between the members which leads to shippable moments....so many...my goodness. I was excited to find that there were thousands of fics on AO3. Like, THOUSANDS. I just finished a m/m/m pairing fic that I have to share. Logical Thinking by Only_A_Fangirl chapters 8 (complete) word count 135, 153. Smut, smut, smut.....did I mention there's smut? It handles three members going from friends to Fbuddies to lovers. The author does a great job of keeping everyone in character and making their actions very believable (if not frustrating! You're in love YOU MORONS - JUST TALK!!). But I think the best part of the fic, for me, was the smut and oddly enough not in the way you would think. Okay, well exactly in the way you would think but hear me out. A fic with multiple sex scenes can get repetitive after a while but this one DOESN'T. The author does a fantastic job of using these moments as character and plot building point, giving each member of the pairing a chance to shine while remaining in character. I've really never encountered a thrupple fic that has done THIS well with that element. It was a joy to read and I just loved it. 💜💜💜

As for the stories I've been reading most of them have been gentle or slice of life. I haven't really wanted to read angst lately even though I love it. There been a lot reading pwp. I just haven't felt up to reading long fics. Though I will read the one about Tony ordering finger food, that is really cool. More then likely read it to my husband. Right now my obsession is this show called Guardian, it's Chinese drama based on a bl story of the same name from Wattpad. Now because of Chinese censorship you cant have it bl be right out in center. So it's sublet ( not really though). It fantasy mixed with drama and mystery. Sasha I've got my own recommendation. I recommend an X-men fanfiction series called X-men Supreme it essentially rewrote X-men comics. Plus, of course I've got my own stuff I write on the fanfiction website

I don’t know if you enjoy reading fics for Games so I’ve debated putting this forward for a while but the author recently started a new piece in the series and it just made me fall in love with it more! It’s a fic for the game Dishonoured it loosely follows canon but is also an AU so you don’t really need to know or have played the game to get into it. The Ancient Music series by SoonToBeCyborg It focuses on Corvo’s relationship with The Outsider after the events of the first game and it honestly does the characters justice it’s so well written (in my opinion anyway 😂) archiveofourown.org/series/561652

I’m still shipping Eddie Brock/Venom very much, although WinterFalcon is also on my radar. Ever since reading the comments Robin Lord Taylor made at Wales Comic-con about loving the idea of a Gotham Christmas special giving us a nygmobblepot wedding, well my brain just thought well I can write that! The fic starts a week before the wedding with Jim Gordon and Lucius Fox being kidnapped one night only to find out they have been chosen by the Penguin and the Riddler to be the best men at the wedding! I'm not sure yet what the final length of the fic will be but so far it is getting weekly updates and I am so happy with how it has turned out!

Peter Parker's Home For The Wayward Villain is a story about a world where Peter never became Spider-man and decided to move into a farm to live independently from the Avengers. However once he started his new life more and more villains starts to appear around the farm and Peter has to adopt them and deal with all of their bull as relationships start to form. It's funny as hell when I first read this so it has good comedy, for me anyway. It's actually a Spideypool fic, which I first didn't like as a pairing but I saw good praise about it so I decided to dive in. I'm not a crazy fangirl for Spideypool now but I found their relationship really amusing to read anyway! TL;DR: It's a redemption fic about Peter Parker making a supervillain family. Very wholesome. It has doggos in it.

For me, Civil War totally kill him. i have been reading Civil War Team Iron Man tag in Ao3 lately. my favorite is where Tony totally separate himself from Avengers after Civil War. or story about him building new avenger. or recovery fic after civil war i love some Tony Stark time travel fic too, Ao3 have some of the best
